Yeah I'm the same when reading bestiaries, etc. because every game has to have spiders and has to have a picture of them being big and menacing. Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should...

Looking forward to funding and hitting a few stretch goals.

@Boris: Haha, indeed! And rightly so, afterall, I am asking for your hard earned money and you fine people have a right to get an insight into what it's going to be spent on. It's good to have questions that you had no idea are coming as you can provide honest feedback. Admittedly, I'm not a great interviewee though - not my forte really. Still, always great to talk to Matt as he has some really sound thoughts on Kickstarters as well as gaming (obvs).
Thanks for the kind words, Boris!
Haha, yes I'm not the biggest fan of spiders either, especially in September/October in the UK when the biggest, ugliest and fastest ones come out to play. Still, I don't like drawing them much, so there might not be a picture to go in the book... I have this small pocket encyclopdia/fact finder book and one page has a double page spread of a tarantula. I've dropped that book on a few occasions!
I got those dice for free at Free RPG Day at a local game store when I went to get my copy of LotFP Slugs! :)

I watched the video with Uncle Matt earlier, he likes asking tough questions! I'm really hoping that we get this fully funded. The Midderlands is one of the (if not the) best RPG books that I've seen, both in terms of content quality and physical quality and I've no doubt that the sequel will be up to the mark.

Why did you go and put spiders in it, though? I had to get the special edition of Skyrim to mod them out and now they're in Havenland too?

I love the dice in the update though.
