Revving the engines!
First, a HUGE thank you to the 83 backers (already!) who have gotten this thing off to a strong start. Thanks, also, to those who have been sharing the campaign and helping us spread the word -- it's so appreciated!
With 5 days under our belts, I've learned a few things -- not the least of which is that this process is a PUSH. I'm accustomed to doling out free donuts and coffee... not asking for favors. And I much prefer to relax and see what happens -- and that is Just Not The Way Of Things in this scenario. And so, I'm revving engines and getting ready to kick things up another notch.
Here's how you can help move this thing forward:
If you've told me you're going to pledge and you haven't yet done so, I'd be so grateful if you could make this a priority during the next day or so -- early momentum is crucial to campaign success. Thanks in advance!
If you live in the south part of the neighborhood and have been wishing we had more food options, your wish is coming true in connection with this project -- and I'd *love* a bump at this critical time in the campaign! Even a $1 pledge helps... Also, have your neighbors heard about the restaurant?
If you know people who would find our work compelling and the mission worth supporting, I'd welcome your influence in drawing their attention to the campaign (the same goes for anyone with strong environmental media connections). :)
OH: and you could also bring a friend or four to Thursday's Happy Hour Kickstart (5-7pm) at Gandhi Mahal, Indian food and tasty beverages? Yes, please.
Thanks for all of your support and enthusiasm (and backing!). I'll be in touch again soon.
