Gorgeous sunny Saturday = our first little plateau
Hey, everyone! Well. There's nothing like a gorgeous Spring day to get people out of their houses and away from their computer screens, and boy: we felt it today.
I'd been warned to expect 'the plateau' (and I'm grateful for having been given that heads up). Apparently, this is what all the kids go through on the road to full funding -- a Kickstarter pre-adolescent phase of sorts...
Thankfully, we've been planning ahead for just this sort of circumstance, and here's how you can help us get things revving again:
1- Bring your pals to the next Junket Kickstarter Happy Hour (this coming Thursday, 5-7p, at Gandhi Mahal. Julie's college roommate, Kristi Rendahl, is hosting this one in the spirit of giving us an extra boost. All are welcome (the Concordia contingent will likely be a healthy one)!
2- You can share our campaign with specific friends who pay extra attention to environmental and climate issues, and encourage them to take all of 1 minute and 54 seconds to watch the video. Also, note: it doesn't matter if your crunchy friend lives in the Twin Cities or not (we'll send a fuckballs towel to San Fran, no problem).
3- Invite friends to our events - we'll be lining up HH gatherings throughout the month. Oh- and invite friends to our email
4- Save the date and join us during Art-A-Whirl on May 20! Our friends at Monkey In A Dryer have convinced us to leave the Longfellow neighborhood (for a couple of hours, people!) and will be hosting our kickstarter-funding t-shirt printing session that afternoon. Details to follow!
We've got so much more - but if I don't hit 'send' now, I'm at risk of falling asleep sitting up (and that's no good for a Kickstarter campaign). ;)
To those who helped us make additional funding traction today, thank you!
