SIOUX MAGAZINE is a collaboration of creative minds and dexterous hands exploring the uncharted ideas of the limitless human psyche.
For three years, Sioux has circulated up and down the West Coast, popping up in your local records stores, boutiques and cafes. We have contributed to events such as the Moon Block Party in San Francisco and Beyond the Witching Hour in Los Angeles. We have also held a few parties of our own: A Night of Sioux-duction in 2011 and Shedding Illusions in 2012.

When printing and distributing a free publication, the odds are stacked against us monetarily. We strive to be a different sort of magazine, one that doesn't have a giant clothing ad with a semi nude girl in between two amazing pieces of art. We want to separate art from consumerism and focus on it's beauty. This is why we reach out to local businesses and individuals that share our philosophy to help fund the continued publication of Sioux Magazine. Join our dedicated group of artists, musicians, local business and friends and contribute to Sioux Magazine.
Sioux Magazine has struggled to keep our publication consistently running. We are a free non-profit magazine and lack funds to pay our talented artists and other contributors, which may discourage some from submitting because it is not their priority. However, I’m happy to say that we have a strong, ambitious team that works hard to reach our goals. Our team, artists and various contributors help keep Sioux Magazine alive. We would not be able to continue working on Sioux Magazine if it weren’t for our passion and your support. Get involved any way you can; monetarily, artistically, reach out and join our dedicated community.
