Played a couple games now with 5 players (with a print-and-play board and the bonus animals), and it actually works pretty well. The super-quick turns mean there's very little downtime between your turns, so no one's sitting around frustrated while other people go. And there's enough feed cards that adding another player doesn't make them too scarce.
Got all six copies and they look great! My wife was a tad spooked (mad) when the side of the box from the supplier said 16 decks but she cooled down when I showed her there were (only) six in the box. Alas I should hope I can get more next time but I shall have to have them sent to my sister's I think. Great game and project! Love it!
Arrived here (UK) tail end of last week - my nephew is going to love his birthday present. I've also just backed the new project, you're doing a grand job Phil - thank you!
Delivered in Australia today, sent on the 22nd of Feb. Josh the extra animals are on double sided cards. Good project Phillip, considering other projects I've backed in the last twelve months you've done exceedingly well to get this out only a month after your projected delivery date, well done!
@Alan: We are still slated for it hitting the warehouse in January. I should have a physical proof to share soon, as well. Just waitin' on the factory at this point.
Played this game for the second time tonight (on my crappy black-and-white printed version) and everyone that has played it so far likes it. Can't wait for the official version.
Thanks for publishing it!
Oh, that's superb Phillip! I was just logging in to send a message to see if there was any chance of pushing a pledge up by enough to tip the balance as it was so close. Credit card is sufficiently stretched this month as it is, but I can scavenge enough for a third copy of Farmageddon to push it a little bit closer to the 'official' goal. Get three more people and we're there...
The extras for Farmageddon were an in-game expansion, backer-exclusive "Grumpy Melon" watermelon seeds, and a free full expansion. Couldn't swing the latter two, unfortunately. But you *do* get the in-game expansion with every copy of Farmageddon. : ]
So close! Still 50 minutes to go, though. You folks have been amazing. Thanks for believing in My Happy Farm and lending your support to our first import. : ]
Have to say, I really appreciate the shipping to Canada being included. Glad to see the game make its funding goal this time around! Looking forward to seeing this one and farmaggedon in the mail :)
Good question, Martin. Unfortunately, to produce the animals separately, the minimum run is 500 sets of the cards. The $5500 wouldn't quite cover that, though. However; you did give me an idea I'll have to look into...
Sweet! Now when my wife tells me to 'have a cow' I can say, "I already got'sa one!" ;) Sweet! Cow level and 3 copies! Two for gifts! Is one for you? We'll see.....
Thanks for another great looking and very fun game 5th Street! You rock!
Good idea, Paul. I have the original Ukrainian version and I'm ordering three copies here to give away to friends. Thank you Phil and 5th Street for making an American version of this wonderful game!
I already own the game and am backing the project for 2 extra copies that I will hand out as gifts to good family friends. Every family should own this game. $13 extra dollars at the PIG level for a second copy is a great deal.
Jokes apart, I guess that it is possible the game will be funded in the next two days, considering the typical last-minute boost here on Kickstarter (look at the Kill The Overlord campaign).
Yet, maybe the publisher could try to push the campaign a bit? I don't know, by adding some kind of bonus or such?
Use this space to cheer the creator along, and talk to your fellow backers.
Have a question?

Apparently now the animals are fighting back over our poor treatment of them: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dogmight/livestock-uprising-a-call-to-farms…

Thanks!

Any chance we could pledge extra to get a set of the alternative animals even if we don't hit $6000? That'd help us hit the goal too.
