About this project
Hello and thanks for having a look at Chroma Cubes, the color by number dice game!
ART PAD PACK
There is also an option to nab more artwork for Chroma Cubes in the Art Pad Pack. It will contain four pads of 10 double-sided sheets each with the following artwork:
Dice in the final version will be silkscreened.
The final dice will be silkscreened (colors printed on the flat die faces) instead of molded (colors applied into indentations on the die faces) due to the cost and complexity of creating molded dice with six different colors of ink on each die. (Check out your basic six-sided or polyhedral dice -- all the ink is one color.)
Silkscreened dice still have good durability and let us bring you Chroma Cubes for the awesome price of just $25!
Pictures in the final version will use symbols to be colored in.
The symbols on the game sheets will match the symbols you roll on the dice to show you what you can color in on a turn. This will make the game language independent in addition to color-blind friendly. The symbols for each color are being finalized.

I liked it a LOT. It's a really fun game and well worth tracking down. - Eric Summerer
The game seemed like a nice casual affair until we saw that our dice started locking up [...] and then it got interesting! [...] I’m intrigued. - Matt Leacock (Pandemic, Roll Through The Ages, Forbidden Island)
Do you even get it? It's a game -- actually a clever, FUN game -- where you color pictures! It's like someone dared Charles to make a game with something that could never be used to make a game, and then he DID. I like it a lot. - Rich Sommer
Chroma Cubes’ color-by-number mechanic hides a game with depth and strategy. I went into the first game not expecting to have to think very much. But I was surprised. Planning and strategy abound here. It’s a really fun game on the light end of the strategy game spectrum with enough to satisfy the gamer in me. - Tom G - Go Forth And Game & The Geek Allstars
It brought me great joy to look around the table on game night to see all my 40-year-old friends coloring at the same time. You can’t buy moments like that. Oh, wait, yes you can. It’s called Chroma Cubes. - Scott, The Board Game Show
Chroma Cubes nails a perfect balance: It's extremely easy to learn, quick to play, offers all sorts of interesting decisions, and features a flexible game system that can be extended any number of ways. And how many games in your collection use crayons? - Gil Hova
The award for Most Innovative Game of TotalCon would go to Chroma Cubes. So simple, so different, and so jealous I didn't make this game. - Jason Tagmire

Risks and challenges
The three areas where delays may occur are artwork, production, and shipping from China.
The artwork for the game is 100% done, with overfund artwork already underway. Should artwork cause a delay, backers would be notified and kept appraised of when the delay was overcome.
Production delays and shipping from China delays would be conveyed to backers as they occurred through updates.
