by Rich Burlew
Rich, just wanted to let you know we all appreciate the work you put into this
Take care, Rich.
Hey, Rich - I appreciate the update and continued work...but at the same time, can't help but be disappointed as things linger and stagnate for so long, especially as promised deadlines get missed. The main comic plot hasn't advanced in a year or so and I really do understand why people may be feeling regret or frustration. I don't know if anything can be done to fix it, and know enough to not make suggestions, as it's not my place. But I hope that the feedback goes to heart, considering all that has happened for positive and negative.
@John Rand Well deserved break? He has already been on a several year break. He should just throw in the towel and say nothing more is coming now and be done with it.
Lovely wallpaper! I think it just might be my favorite yet.
When you've finished the work o meter, you should take a well earned break.
You're awesome, Rich. Keep on truckin'.
"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can..."
Thank you for continuing the work on this and keeping people informed, Rich.
I look forward to reading the O'Chul story whenever it's ready.
Enjoy sleep :)
Thanks for the update. Thanks also, that you still keep up the great work. Look after yourself and take care.
Indeed, take care of your health. None of us would've noticed if your update were a day late. Thank you very much for the update! Keep up the good work as always (:
"I've been awake for 26 hours trying to get that wallpaper done and words are hard right now"
Godsdamn man, pace yourself! Your words are your moneymaker! Seriously though, that is rough on my body, and you have ~20 years on me. Take care of your health my man. Loving everything though, keep up the good work, just no more all-nighters!
Echoing what other folks have said, thanks much for the update!! It means a lot to know that you're still working on stuff and, honestly, it gives me heart when I'm fighting with my own self-imposed work to know that even people I really admire (i.e. yourself) struggle sometimes but persevere. (hugs) if welcome and thanks for the wallpaper.
Goodspeed Rich! Lovely screensaver. I can't imagine having all this hang over my head for all this time, you're doing a great job under the circumstances, and I know I speak for everyone when I say we appreciate you updating us and keeping in touch (I've known many a kickstarter creator that went AWOL).
This is a great thing you're doing, and while part of me can't wait to see the end, another part of me is grateful to savor it a while longer.
And, talking about books, what about a new printed one ??? Hmm ?? I like the webcomic version, but, as an old player, I really preffer printed material :).
Thanks for the update, Rich! :-) Looking forward to the O-Chul story.
In 2013, Rich Burlew completed 3 Wallpapers, 2 stories, A set of monster minis and an average of 6 pages of comics a month. This was after the alleged thumb injury. Nothing of that magnitude of quantity has been produced since then. We all know why.
Please save everyone the trouble and publish the complete plot synopsis of Order of the Stick, including future elements. According to my calculations OOTS will not finish until August 2027 with the Drive finishing in 2022. This assumes similar productivity levels, levels we cannot rely on when Rich gets depressed because he's 50 and has been working on the same thing for 20 years. He already changed the art style (and his distinct brand) because other wise he couldn't work more. What else could he do?
Love that Belkar still has his cat and they are curled up sleeping together.
Thanks for the update and wallpaper.
@Kathleen Hunt: It's available at Ookoodook: https://www.ookoodook.com/products/gipots05 (or at your friendly local gaming store).
How can I get this book in print, rather than a PDF?
Not ready yet?!
I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing pixie dust...
