For this show, we've worked together to create a visual experience of our faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. We're doing so by creating an installation of photography, drawing, and fabric.
The photographs for this show are high contrast, visually active, and aim to communicate the emotion of the moment. The black and white action-driven photography paired with large-scale drawings of cloth, work to create an environment that helps the audience visualize what we felt as we came to better understand our God and His love for us.
The opening reception is May 6, 2013 from 5-7pm at Bridgewater College in Virginia. We would love for you to come and check out the show!
Risks and challenges
Even though we are both competent artists, installation is a new to us. One obstacle includes the actual installment of the show. To overcome this, we have made a mock gallery space and have been assessing how the space will be set up as we go. Being part of an Art department that has strong sense of community, we also have a ton of support from experienced professors and peers. Along with that, we are two creative individuals who have been overcoming challenges throughout our working process.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
