Hi guys!

First of all, please let me thank you for all this initial support. My special gratitude to those who know the game in depth and help us solving other players ´doubts as we try to publish updates, make corrections and think of ways in which we can improve our game. Thanks to the team who struggle to give answers for this flood of questions. The first 30 hours have been absolutely crazy. We have been number 1 on Kicktrack for a whole day!!! And we have recruited new partners in order to be able to answer the thousands of messages we have received through social networks, blogs, KS, email... And yet, there are many more media we would like to explore.

I´ll try to be brief, since I will bring you another update tomorrow.

First of all, I would like to make clear that a reprint is NOT an option. Not at least in the next years (in fact, I can affirm here that if there were a reprint in an unlikely, distant future, its price would be higher than the one of these pledges). My goal once the project is funded and delivered is to create expansions which, in many cases, are already planned and even tested. Those expansions will use the contents we are offering in the game. The game is such designed that a thin book may become a full expansion.

I often say that DUN is somehow like a toolbox. It is not only a closed game with different game modes, but also a box with lots of materials that will provide you with lots of different game modes in the future. Buying those expansions will be up to you, since not having them won´t prevent you from continuing using DUN by any means. They will simply expand the game with new game modes.

In what regards to the unlocked contents, most of the SG cards are already finished, even if they will be revised and improved once the campaign is over. The truth is that I designed the game with more than 1000 thousand cards, but production costs prevented me from including them in the basic game. Now they are in. Black Scroll Games will be in charge of the design of the tiles, and all of them will be printed double-sided. In my opinion, they are probably the best tile-designers in the world. I can show you some examples of their tiles, but I only have the instructions I gave the designer Antal Kéninger last December. All those tiles weren´t initially in the core game, but are going to be included since many backers have demanded them. Their average size is the same of many of the ones we include in the game, 15x15 cms, but it might change depending on the tile.

During the last 30 hours we have done our best to answer all your questions (I know there are still many unanswered ones). We have also spent some time on checking the quick rules in English, since we noticed that they had some typos. Some goals have been unlocked too. And we have devoted a lot of time to considering all the proposals you guys are making. We won´t be able to talk with the printing-press until Monday, since they were off due to the long-weekend in their city. As soon as I talk to them I´ll be able to give you a clear answer about the material for the campaign map. That´s all for now. Thank you again. It´s a real pleasure to work hard when you work for a dream come true.

Hola.

@Justin Boehm they added a boooklet with 50 pages for hero creation, similar to the blank hero cards as SG.

I realize that 10 are provided by default( but I'd hope for more in the range of 50 for lasting use :)

I'm glad the campaign is going well so far! As for upgrades, yeah it makes sense to talk to your manufacturers first before deciding anything. Honestly, one of the biggest things I'd like to see right now would be linen finish on the cards. There's a lot of cards and they are obviously a primary component for the game, so their quality should be top notch!

Secondary to that, the quality of the tiles is paramount. Honestly, even if they were thinner and laminated, I'd be ok with that, as that would reduce weight, space needed, and make them nearly indestructible, however that may be an expensive process and perhaps I'm in the minority of those who would want that.

Lastly, the blank hero cards, I hope that a good number of them are included, as I would expect most will be making their own characters the majority of the time, rather than using premise ones.
