Quick Plot cards are designed to assist you, the game master in coming up with creative plots, town gossip, and quick side quest ideas to help you keep your players engaged in the game.
They have been designed in such a way that they offer a simple problem and three possible reasons behind the problem. It then becomes up to your players to figure out the solution.
The quick plot deck is designed to work with any fantasy setting role playing game and includes 52 cards and will retail for $12.99. This gives you the option to include 52 unique challenges and 156 unique possible variations. They are great for on the fly game mastering when your players choose to do the unexpected of for prepping an upcoming session.
Use the deck anytime to mix things up when you feel that the campaign/session might be getting a little stale. Even the most accomplished GM can find an opportunity to whip it out and randomly introduce the players to a new and thought provoking story point. Who knows it may lead them to a key Relic that they must acquire to complete their main quest.
*All of the card art is still in the works and may not reflect the art on the final product.
The quick plot deck was inspired to help those GMs who play with a group that consistently (or intentionally) goes the wrong direction, does the unexpected, or just tries to throw a wrench into our carefully-planned sessions. The plot deck will allow you the freedom to select appropriate plots or randomize what what your group will encounter.
While we're keeping this project as straight forward and simple as possible, we do have some simple stretch goals that we can throw out at you.
- Artwork is to be determined -
As you can see, we are keeping this as simple as possible. Our intention is to not get bogged down with goofy order possibilities and a billion stretch goals. We want to focus on this one deck and get it in your hands as expeditiously as possible.
We have included shipping in the pledge amount, that will negate the need for a pledge manager after the project ends. We have done a general calculation of shipping to the most remote places that we can ship to and made the pledge levels reflect the cost for that shipping.
Because this is our first campaign, our focus is for the folks here in the U.S. (nothing against the rest of the world, we love you all too! But we have a lot to learn with with this process and plan to launch more products down the line. And by doing things this way, we can keep our word and learn the ropes with how this all works.)
So please, select the pledge level that is most appropriate for you. If it happens that you select a level for a region that you are not in, we will ask that you cover the difference in shipping after funding (probably through pay-pal or the like). If this happens, your deck will not ship out until the difference has been paid.
If you would like more than one deck, you can add more to your pledge level. Pricing per additional decks are as follows:
- United States: $13/additional deck
- Canada, Hawaii & Alaska: $15/additional deck
- Rest of the World: $18/additional deck
These prices also include shipping costs to their respective regions.
