The Selfskie is cleverly engineered and designed for easy use. This means you can leave it attached to your stick during your whole trip or vacation and simply decide when you want to use it.
To take a picture, simply flip up the grabbing arm and mount your Smartphone to your stick in one easy motion. The included Bluetooth Remote (BT) will make it even easier to snap your shot. Of course, you can also use the self-timer on your smartphone.
We know that conditions can get a little rough when you’re engaged in outdoor activity such as skiing. That’s why we designed the Selfskie as a very sturdy device, using only durable, top quality materials.
We designed a mechanism that firmly attaches itself to your stick for a perfect, fixed grip. The Selfskie can be used even when you're wearing (ski) gloves. If you prefer to use an action camera, we've got you covered. The grabbing arm can be easily removed so you can attach any action camera compatible with the GoPro mount. We also made sure the Selfskie can withstand the most extreme weather temperatures.
Take perfect group pictures from a distance using your Selfskie on a (ski) pole as a camera stand or simply mount it on a tree. The included Bluetooth Remote allows you to take pictures from a distance of up to 32 feet (10 meters). You’ll never have to bother bystanders again. Now you can take as long as you want to capture your perfect smile!

Emelie explains her motivation for Selfskie:
For the last 10 years I've worked in TV advertising and I was always intrigued by smart, easy, time-saving solutions. I was surprised when I saw skiers struggle to get out their clunky selfie-stick and take a group photo. I wondered... Why bring a selfie-stick when you’re already using a ski pole? I couldn't believe there wasn't a clever, simple tool on the market that addressed this issue. I decided to quit my job and pursue my lifelong dream of creating a product myself. Luckily, some of the smartest people I know joined me. Sam is the best industrial designer I know. Teun's creative mind is constantly overflowing with ideas. Otto keeps a steady eye on the product and financing. Together we will make this dream come true!

We have created various prototypes and improved the product in detail. We have selected the best quality materials and we have found a great manufacturing company for the production of SELFSKIE. All we need now are the funds to build the production moulds and kickstart our project.
We are totally committed to deliver the SELFSKIE on time and we'll continuously keep you up-to-date on our progress.
