Introduction:
The ZAR is a foldable electric scooter, perfect for those daily short distances we need to travel quickly. It weighs in at only 4.0 kg (8.8 lbs). It is ultra compact and can easily be folded into a backpack, making it extremely convenient to bring on public transport and even on planes.
The ZAR's power source are lithium batteries with modular design. A standard fully charged ZAR can run 10 km (6.2 mi). High configuration can last 20 km (12.5 miles). Its motor deploys 200W mini low-power core, and the maximum speed can reach 20 km/h (12.5 miles/hr). It is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0. When it’s connected with a mobile phone, you can control ZAR and receive ZAR's information in real time.
ZAR is very light weight, only about 1/5 of the weight of a traditional electric scooter.
Why would you need ZAR?
Taking public transport in traffic ridden cities, it’s usually that last mile - too far to walk, too short to ride - that is the most time consuming and troublesome. That’s where the ZAR comes in conveniently unfold it, and cruise to your destination in no time.
World's Lightest Electric Scooter
The ZAR weighs in at 4.0kg (8.8lb). It is the world's lightest electric scooter and designed to be carried in a backpack. ZAR's body is made of light aluminum and fiber glass material which has high endurance and is light weight and long lasting. The whole body is compact and uses a small mini low-power rear wheel drive motor. This design reduces 80% of the weight of a traditional electric scooter.
We have performed over 1000 performance and safety practice tests. ZAR's main body structure is made of titanium magnesium alloy and PC+GF composite material to reduce vehicle weight while maximizing load-bearing and impact resistance capabilities. Creative design using high strength, high resistance, lightweight aluminum material folding mechanisms has further reduced the body weight. The ZAR is the first in the world to use alloy transmission shaft in its electric scooter. This provides not only dynamic motion and stability, but also enhanced vehicle handling and safety. Each metal part of the body has gone through careful oxidation to enhance the vehicle’s lifespan and superior quality texture.

Through countless iterations, the Crazyfire team has applied numerous innovations to make the ZAR smaller and lighter.
Powerful Engine
200W brushless mini motor engine provides maximum power combined with the lightest ZAR body. Maximum speeds up to 20 km/hr (12.5 miles/h) to bring you a more carefree experience when riding. We apply special waterproof and non slip treatment on the wheel hub, and use the high elasticity free inflatable tires, so no matter the road you can travel easily and safely.
Modular Battery Design
The high-density lithium battery gives the ZAR an extremely long endurance capability. The battery life can last up to 5 years with 2000 charging cycles. We have also integrated an automotive grade ‘Battery Monitoring and Management System’ (BMS) making the battery in our ZAR Electric Scooter a smart battery.

THE “LIGHT” APP, IS LINKED TO YOUR ZAR FOR SMART MONITORING AND CONTROL
The “light” app includes the following functions:- Developed to seamlessly connect to your ZAR via Bluetooth.
- Monitor the ZAR’s speed and remaining power and estimated mileage.
- You can control the maximum speed limit on your ZAR convenient for beginners or child safety.

Customizable Safety Lighting
Our intelligent lighting control system developed by our team provides safety and speed warnings, power monitoring and other multifunctional displays. You can freely chose between a range of 1600 colors just by clicking on a button setting through the “light” app.
Customize your ZAR with a Personalized Accessories Collection
Our designers have made the ZAR as customizable as possible. With a modular engineering structure you can easily remove and replace parts of the body according to your taste. Our models currently include black, white and silver.

We are almost ready for production. Our Kickstarter funding goal is based on placing orders with our suppliers to build a minimum of 1000 ZARs, having our molds manufactured for a large-scale production.

Risks and Challenges:
The ZAR is an advanced product and getting into full scale production is never easy. Thankfully we are working with amazing suppliers and component manufacturers to make it happen.
Some of our electronic components may have longer lead times than we foresee. We will be placing orders with our suppliers immediately after the Kickstarter campaign ends. We already have a back up supplier/ manufacturer selected for almost every long lead time component of the board.
Battery and Electronic certifications are dependent on wether designs need to have slight modifications. We will be collaborating with certification testing laboratories to make this processes as smooth as possible.
