As the title says, Fistful of Lead: Reloaded was designed as a quick set of Tabletop wargame rules for gunfights in the Wild West. I like rules that can be learned within a couple of turns and still keep the flavor of the period.
What separates Fistful of Lead: Reloaded from most tabletop miniature games on the market, is the unique card driven turn mechanism. This leads to snap decisions and tense moments where all the players are involved.
For Fistful of Lead, I wanted the play to be fast and furious, with a Hollywood flair to it. For that reason, record keeping is kept to a bare minimum.
FfoL, as it’s known, has been around for over a decade with a small, but loyal fan base. This version has left the core rules intact while adding more scenarios, more examples of play, some house rules that have brewed up over the years, and a simple campaign system.
In most games, each player can control up to 6 gunfighters without much trouble. Games can have up to 8 players without slowing down the game. Experienced wargamers and new players alike will enjoy this game. It's perfect for convention games and just one on one shoot outs.
As part of the Kickstarter, I'd like to offer a few extra products.
Although the game itself contains the status markers you can print off or photocopy, these sturdy 3/4" laser cut wood tokens lend a more Wild West feel to the gaming table. Each pack contains:
5 Out of Ammo markers
5 Wounded markers
7 Pinned markers
3 Wounded Twice markers
20 Markers for $5 plus additional S&H.
Fistful of Lead: Reloaded uses a standard deck of playing cards. However, if you really want class up your gaming experience, this custom deck has been designed with a distinctly western flair. And, all the Special Bonuses used in the game are printed right on them!
This deck of cards can be added to your order for $15 plus additional S&H.

Most scenarios have objectives, be it loot or an important piece of terrain. We're now offering Objective Markers. More than likely these will be cast lead and be things like bank bags, lock boxes and such. Ten markers for $5.
Great news! With the $5000 mark reached we can now offer 6 easy to build Old West buildings from Whitewash City.
Whitewash City has been creating affordable paper terrain for awhile now. It allows you to create an entire town without breaking the bank. As part of this Kickstarter, you'll get
x1 Marshall's Office & Jail
x1 Dry Goods Store
Check out the Whitewash City website to see how nice these are.
To play Fistful of Lead you’ll need: this rule book (or, after a few games just the Quick Reference sheet), 10-sided-dice (referred to as d10), an ordinary deck of playing cards (or the ones available if reach our goal), a place to play, a tape measurer, and the miniatures representing your gunfighting gang. Markers to represent whether your models are Wounded or Out of Ammo can be found in this rule book or through this Kickstarter.
Lastly, "Why the Kickstarter?"
I'm a one man operation. I've always wanted to take my little home brewed game to the next level, and this will help. Fistful of Lead has always had a great little following and positive reviews (check the internet). It would be great if even more people could enjoy it.
Thanks for checking out my Kickstarter, and keep the Lead flying!
Risks and challenges
All aspects of the project have already been designed and play tested.
Currently, the only potential delays would be in the printing of the rule book, cards and tokens, all of which are being produced by trusted and reputable printers. But even they can get backed up.
