Alas!

Thank you so much for your encouragement and support. We have continued to add movie titles to our library and I'm waiting for a rare, vintage Star Trek episode on 16mm to show up in the mail for Bobby's Xmas present. As with the other projects in our lives, we will continue to develop and support a wide variety of arts and entertainment and hope to embiggen our community with our efforts.(I know, it's a Simpson's word from an episode about community) I'll leave you with a link to the rough cut of one of our tracks for our Anthology, Too Loud for a Small Town featuring Stop, Drop & Rock! We are in the process of mixing it down and I'm thinking that will be our next kickstarter project. Thank you again, your support felt very validating and that is priceless. <3 Lynnette and Bobby

We will never give up.

Onward & Upward! Almost halfway to our deadline!

Hello,

Thanks for showing your support of our project. Bobby just finished a custom built Mini-Archtop Jazz Guitar crafting a Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top, Honduran Mahogany back, Wooly Mammoth Ivory Nut and a Cocobolo tail piece. I'll post pictures. This really is an incredible deal on his instruments and at our top tier of rewards includes a free sun sculpture and seasonal wreath. Visit our facebook page to see an album of his work and reflect on who is on your Holiday gift list. Oh, and please pass the link on so you can support a great cause and drop broad hints about what you would like from Santa. Have you always dreamed of playing face-melting riffs on a custom instrument made to compliment your playing style and taste? Take advantage of this incredible deal! Our latest customer sent us an email today with these words after receiving the Bobby's newest masterpiece.

"Just got the guitar !!
All I can say is WOW !!  I can't believe it...you surpassed all my expectations visually and sonically.  This is a piece of art not a travel guitar :)
Thank you SO much for a wonderful addition to my collection.I'm sure I will own it forever ":)

Of course, I immediately turned around and bid on some 16mm films with some of the proceeds from the sale of the guitar. Ebay is a dangerous place and I try to limit myself to films under $30. So I did win some bids and the new titles that we are awaiting for the Winter Season are:

The  first eight titles are silent movies.

  1. CHIMP THE FIREMAN-IN ORIGINAL BOX

  5. KEN MAYNARD AS THE LONE RANGER
  6. HOPALONG CASSIDY IN GHOST CANYON ROUNDUP
  7. TOM MIX IN MY GIRL
  8. THE LONE RANGER

9 Christmas Dream Vintage 16mm movie Castle Films

10. Weather Fronts

11. What Do Plants Do

12. Wonderful World Of Winter

Wild & Luscious Wreaths

Just a quick photo update to showcase the wreaths and kinetic sun sculpture featured as rewards for this project! We had a stellar day at the local Farmer's Market and are jumping head first into the holiday season. A big secret,(that Bobby doesn't even know) is that I just purchased the 16mm film, A Pup's Christmas, a 1936 Vintage Animated Cartoon Holiday Movie. We had a version of this classic cartoon  saved on our DVR until an untimely power outage. I hope it comes by Thanksgiving to go with the Christmas Carol one. We plan on showing it after dinner in the shop to all our families. We are thankful for this opportunity to fund our new project. Please pass this link on to your email contacts and social and professional networks. I'm pretty sure connection and networking are the answers and we really want to succeed. Thank you for your support.

Pictures from today and fortuitous news!

It took us this long to unload the van from Doe Bay and when we did we discovered that Bobby's favorite Seafoam Green Firebird R.A.W. guitar was missing! In the scuffle of loading all the band equipment back into the van after Open Mic, it got left there by accident. Bobby was most concerned about transporting his newest mini jazz archtop guitar to show to his colleague, Bruce Harvie of Tonewoods and he tucked his working guitar into a corner for safe keeping and forgot to grab it. Doe Bay is so very magical that when we called 3 days later, it was still there where he had left it in the cafe. Thank goodness! We are working on a plan to get it back home and it may involve going to Orcas for vocal lessons with Jasmine soon. She's currently napping on the couch before band practice while Miles works with his Physics tutor. We watched the Christmas Carol movie that came recently. It arrived wound upside down and backwards but we watched it and switched reels around enough to fix that problem. We can't wait to show it after Thanksgiving Dinner this year. We are hosting 12-15 people and will be setting up in the shop on long tables to seat everyone. We hope it becomes a family holiday tradition!
