      I clain this perk.

      I love the idea of paying $500.00 to be a crowd extra and get killed too boot. Cool. We will finance this baby yet! However, I'm just a poor mountain guy and live too far away. I'm assuming one gets one face briefly on screen for this. I mean normally you can't buy something like that!!!

      Fall of 2012 October/November. Impossible to nail down an exact date until it gets closer.

      If I didn't have to pay $1720 for my last class to get my Masters degree (Public Administration) I would have jumped on this opportunity in a heart beat!!! =*{

      Count me in for The Battle For Saturn! (I claim this perk.)

    7. Creator Ali Ries on July 8, 2012

      This means of course that you have to travel to LA to be there for the shooting... so when is the shooting going to start???? Or perhaps I should ask when is the epic death scene going to take place??

    8. Creator Peter Cohen on July 8, 2012

      @TheChosenOne Perzactly! Each person has a limit on what they can donate, whether it be $500, $27, $37 or whatever. An arrangement like this encourages people to unpledge and repledge if their limit has already been reached. And many of those who don't will end up feeling cheated and less motivated to promote Space Command to their friends.

    9. Creator TheChosenOne on July 8, 2012

      Ofcourse but not everyone wants to pledge $1000. Doesn't change anything that its just a weird option.

    10. Creator Robert A Benson on July 8, 2012

      If I had the money I would do it in a heartbeat. The guaranteed chance to be in a Hollywood film is an awesome perk.
      @thechosenone Actually going from the 500 to 1000 level gets you a signed copy of Marc's book and a model of the clipper ship along with everything else. Plus as a bonus it means you're throwing that much more support behind the project. If I had the money I would do it in a heartbeat but living on disability that is beyond what I can afford unless I don't eat or pay rent. I'm happy to support the project with what I can and would like to think that others are supporting the project because they believe in it. Not just because they think it's a way to get items.

      Honestly, i have not understood this reward. I guess you have to come to LA?

    12. Creator TheChosenOne on July 8, 2012

      This is another one of those weird options. If you already backed $500 you are better to unpledge and then pledge $500 again...
