At the beginning we had an idea and a vision, unfortunately that was it. So we started to make a plan and develop the project. The days became longer and the nights shorter. We knew that if we didn't invest the necessary time and energy into the project, then it would always stay with the vision. Months went by and after a long time of no progress we finally managed to draw and graphically design our first sketches. The name, the logo and the first design drafts were finished. The vision now had a logo and a name. ZEITSTÜCK watches were born.
After we had created the logo and the name of our watches, we set out to develop the right design for the watches. To spread our important message to the outside world, we naturally also needed the right design for it. Our intention was to keep the design as simple as possible and to devote ourselves absolutely to the details. Easier said than done because the big challenge was to keep the design as simple as possible and still create a unique design. We found out that the more we focused on the details, the more our watch got more complex. Furthermore, complex was never our Intention, quite the opposite in fact. So the logo and the details were specifically selected. After several attempts and missteps we finally managed to create the perfect design for our concept
The design was done, now we had to find the right materials and above all, the right producer for our project. Our demands were high. We not only wanted to develop a watch that looked good, but also a watch that was made out of the best possible materials to achieve a high standard of quality. After a long period of research and analysis of the existing movements on the market, we decided for a Japanese Quartz movement from Seiko. This movement, called VH31, ticks four times a second and has convinced us by its durability and its special function to tick almost automatically despite quartz movement. For the case we decided to use 316L Stainless Steel and the leather of our straps comes from sustainably raised calves. All these components are manufactured in our production facility with years of experience in craftsmanship. The individual parts are delivered to Salzburg and can then get individually assembled by our team. This modular system is important to us, because we want you to decide yourself which watch best suits your feelings and emotions.
We very well know that our project cannot be realized without the right community behind it. That's why we host events around our ZEITSTÜCK brand to provide our loyal followers and customers with more than just a one-time service. We want everyone to be able to be part of our company growth and how could we communicate our message better than celebrating together with friends, partners, followers and customers.
Now it is time to take our watches to the market. But for this, we need your help and that is why we have decided to take our first steps into the watch industry on Kickstarter. Join us, secure the very first ZEITSTÜCK watches and become a part of the next watch chapter. A chapter that allows us to recognize that true beauty can only be seen in the eye of simplicity.

Risks and challenges
Projects like these naturally involve risks and challenges. As this is our first Kickstarter campaign, we have little experience with the platform and don't know how the community will react to our project. That's why it was so important for us to set up a competent team that could react to any risks and challenges that we hadn't considered and then minimize the effects. But what would a new project be without the challenges ahead? Success is a journey and with this in mind, we look forward to everything that lies ahead on our way to the official market release.
