Michael Feinstein writing foreword

Posted by Media History Press (Creator)

We are delighted to announce that singer, historian, and music revivalist Michael Feinstein has come on board to write a foreword to King of Jazz: Paul Whiteman's Technicolor Revue

Mr. Feinstein is well-known for his concert performances and efforts to recognize the Great American Songbook -- the most important and influential American popular songs and jazz standards of the early 20th century. Mr. Feinstein is the author of the book The Gershwins and Me: A Personal History in Twelve Songs (2012), and he also produced and appeared in the celebrated television series Michael Feinstein's American Songbook on PBS.

Mr. Feinstein has long been a fan of the film King of Jazz.
