$$$ Note about Currency $$$
As we are based in Sydney; Australia, the project goal and all pricing is given in Australian dollars (AUD). We have included an approximate USD conversion for all the reward tiers and add-ons. The project goal of $6,000 AUD is approximately $4,400 USD.
Pipmen World is a unique, world-first deck of poker-sized cards from Elephant Playing Cards. This campaign is to fund a FULL-ART version of the very popular deck which recently concluded on Kickstarter.
'What are Pipmen?'
Pips are the suit symbols on the card face - the spade, heart, diamond or club indicators. In addition to this standard element each Pipmen card has little stickmen figures interacting with the pips to create a unique scene. So Pipmen are the Pip-men! Get it?
Pipmen cards are fun, quirky and interesting; but what makes this so unique and awesome is not just the individual cards…
Pipmen: World Full Art
Pipmen World Deck Features:
- Gorgeous wraparound box art
- Thick luxurious paper stock
- Printed by MPC
- World first 52-piece self-contained Polyptych puzzle
- Silver foil on box (if stretch goal reached)
We have made a (very popular) Pipmen deck before, so what sets this project apart from every other deck on the planet? What makes this a totally unique, world-first, revolutionary creation unlike anything else ever?
This deck is absolutely unique because while every single card is a fun little self-contained scene, they all fit together into one big picture – the Pipmen world!
There have been a few other decks which have had a composite feature, but Pipmen World stands alone. This deck is the first of it's kind in the world because:
- Every individual card is a self contained picture.
- The face pictures are integral with the symbols on the card face, not just an abstract background pattern.
- All the pictures fit together to form a self-contained single stunning work of art.
Each card is both an individual picture and a usable playing card. The artwork is fun, creative and playful.
This is the FULL-ART version of the Pipmen: World Deck. The original project was successfully funded in Mid-March (over 900 backers!). If you would like to see more details of the project, just visit the page.
The cards are so beautiful that they deserve a special tuckbox to house them. For the full art version of Pipmen World, we took the global picture and wrapped it around the tuckbox so that you get the full panoramic effect!
This project is the second part of the original Pipmen: World deck. As such, you can add-on some of the goodies from the original project:
Original Pipmen: World deck
The original Pipmen: World deck, in all it's glory. The only difference between the original and the full-art deck that this campaign is funding for is the white borders have been removed, the back is now full-bleed, and the box is incredible!
To add an original Pipmen: World deck to your order, increase your pledge by $18 (USD $13) for USA or $19 (USD $14) for International. You can add as many Decks as you want.
Pipmen World was made for the uncut sheet. It was designed so that the sheet would beautifully display the whole scene as a picture.
Uncut sheets are where the original-edition (not full art) printed sheets are pulled off the production line at the factory before they go through the cutting process – they are very special because only a few of them get saved as uncuts. They have all the finishes and printing that the normal cards do, but they stay in a single sheet – a really cool wall decoration or present!
Uncut sheets will ship unframed. The distributor will take every precaution to safely pack these, however minor scuffs, scratches, or creases may occur at the far edges of the sheets. These blemishes are unavoidable and are usually easily covered after it is framed.
To add an uncut sheet to your order, increase your pledge by $50 (USD $35) for USA or $57 (USD $40) for International. You can add as many Uncuts as you want.
The bigger-picture action doesn’t stop at the uncut sheet, we are offering posters of the Pipmen world with no white borders. We have purposefully added extra Pipmen and other details inside the white borders of the cards which can only be seen on the posters:
Posters will be A2 size (420mm x 594mm), printed on premium Photo Satin Paper and will ship unframed. These will be an incredible item and would look awesome in any pool room, games den or garage!
To add a poster to your order, increase your pledge by $57 WORLDWIDE ($40 USD) [this includes worldwide shipping]. You can add as many Posters as you want, with each additional poster costing $21 ($15 USD).
Sealed inside a solid glass jar, impossible bottles are just that - impossible. Each bottle comes with a full deck of Pipmen: World - tuckbox AND cards. These are a super cool collector's item and an awesome talking point :)
To add any number of impossible bottles to your order, increase your pledge by $95 per bottle ($65 USD) [this includes worldwide shipping]. These bottles will be made as soon as the surveys are returned and shipped from EPC HQ in Sydney, Australia.

Who is EPC?
Elephant Playing Cards was created by designer Ben Jones in 2015 to experiment with creative and innovative graphic design. Using the helpful Kickstarter platform, EPC strives to push the boundaries of playing card technology and design to bring a final product that player and collector alike would be excited to own.
EPC partners with world-class production and fulfillment operations such as Legends Playing Card Co. and Gambler's Warehouse to provide the best quality playing cards possible. To date we have produced 8 decks: 4 different Prism decks, 3 Pipmen designs and the intricately-detailed Medieval deck. We have many more project lined up for the future, so make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest news!
Based in Sydney, Australia, Ben is an Engineer by profession, loves playing with graphic design and enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
Risks and challenges
We have done a lot of research and reviewed several companies to ensure that this project goes as smoothly as possible. In the end, the proven quality and experience of Legends Playing Card Company (LPCC) was a major factor in the decision to produce with them. We have set the delivery date conservatively so as not to rush the production of the product, and have full confidence in LPCC to produce the decks, and Gamblers Warehouse to fulfill them. We have an excellent and longstanding relationship with both parties and anticipate no problems.
This is the Seventh successful Kickstarter project by Elephant Playing Cards which will make our Eleventh deck of Playing Cards, and while the first ones went off relatively smoothly, there may be unanticipated problems which could arise. We have thoroughly prepared for this campaign and will be open and transparent to all backers if any difficulties are encountered. The designs are 100% finished so there should be no delay in sending the digital proofs to the manufacturer, and then onto production.
As the full-art Pipmen world Playing Cards will be printed by MPC I imagine that these decks will be delivered much earlier than the main Pipmen project, however this depends on the rate surveys are returned.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
