Hello backers,

I just wanted to let all of you know that every reward has been mailed out! So hopefully you'll be receiving your copy of Juiced by next week.

If you haven't received your rewards in 2 weeks, send me a message and I'll either send you a new one, or contact the postal service.

Our launch party is tomorrow! We'll be posting tons of pictures to our Facebook, so make sure to like our page to see all of them:

We'd love to hear what you think of our first issue, so send us a message on Kickstarter or email with any feedback!

Hi everyone,

Our magazines arrived today! They look great and we can't wait for all of you to get them in the mail.

Our cover turned out great! Opening the box for the first time was so exciting.

Update on our progress-- and a final thank you!

Although we reached our goal last Thursday, this is the last day for our Kickstarter campaign. Not only did we reach our goal, but we passed it by $75! The entire staff feels incredibly grateful that we not only reached our monetary goal, but that we have a community of supporters who believe in Juiced Magazine, and us. In addition the to $4,025 we raised on Kickstarter, we will also receive $1,500 from the Kick it Up program at Newhouse, because we got more than 150 backers (183!!). The $1500 we receive will go towards funding next year's print magazine, with a new staff of freshman getting experience running a magazine.

Another exciting thing for Juiced, wrote an article on our involvement in the Kick it Up program! You can read it here.

Now that we've been successfully funded, we'll be sending out a survey (through Kickstarter) to collect your address so we can send you your rewards! Please keep an eye out for the email, so we can send you the magazine as soon as its printed.

Speaking of our print magazine, here's a sneak peek at a few pages!

Once again, an enormous thanks to all our backers for believing in our project.

Have a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year!

We did it!

With four days to go, we just reached our goal!

The entire Juiced Team wants to extend our thanks to everyone who has believed in us and contributed to our campaign. Our first print magazine can now become a reality! We've spent the first week of break finishing up articles and creating the design layouts, which are now in the process of being put together. We're going to send our magazine to be printed on January 7th, 2014! We're hoping to get our printed copies back by end of January. At the end date of our campaign (so in 4 days), we'll be able to send a survey out to get your address so we can send you your rewards. We can't wait for you to see our finished product!

We would also like to extend a specific thank you to the following people:

  • Professor Dan Pacheco and the Kick it Up Program at Newhouse
  • Professor Corey Takahashi
  • Luke Rafferty (he filmed our awesome video!)
  • Jacob Beckman (he created our entire website for free, which really got us started as a publication)

Thank you again to all our backers. From $1 to $250, every amount has helped us, and we are truly grateful for the support and enthusiasm we have received.

Stay tuned for one final update where we'll share a sneak peek of the designs from our print magazine!

We're almost to our goal!

Hello Juiced Supporters!

We just reached 130 backers and $3,102! This means we are only $848 from our monetary goal, and 20 backers away from receiving an additional $1500 from the Kick it Up program at Newhouse.

The Juiced staff has been working hard on our print magazine, even though we've been studying for finals and writing term papers. We've shot our cover, style section, and have almost completed all the content. Now that we have all the loose ends, our graphics team will turn it into the finished product. We're extremely excited for the finished product, and can't wait until we have the funds to print it.

Also, there was a great article written about us on the Newhouse and Syracuse home page! If you haven't gotten the chance to read it, you can check it out here.

Again, we want to thank everyone who has backed our project. Your support extends beyond the monetary donation. You are not only supporting the inaugural issue of Juiced, but our team and our vision.

P.S. Here's a behind-the-scenes photo from our style shoot!
