      Having worn these for a 3 day trip they now fall out as the rubber doesn't seem to expand anymore. This is very disappointing and no better than the cheap throw always. Please help

      A testament to how well these guys reduce sound- fire alarm went off in my house (false alarm) and I popped the isolates in and was able to walk up to the screeching alarm very comfortably! Anyone who's been surprised by a fire alarm knows how painful that ringing is, even from across a room. Good work for turning the ordeal of disabling a ringing fire alarm into an easy task :)

      I really love my Isolates. They have saved my sanity, as I have hyperacusis and sound enters my brain as pain. I wear them and a pair of Peltors, and the bass noise is cut down to bearable levels. i even managed to be in Home Depot four times in a single day--something unthinkable with just my Peltors. Thank you.

      Two problems:
      1) They are relatively easy to lose. Can you put a hole in the end for a string for us geeks?

      2) The rubber tips do not last very long.

      Another thing I forgot to te was that the pain in my ear canals are unbearable after like 20 min in each ear, and does not keep
      Sound away! I am just disappointed and also have my doubts with the mini's! Better the quality as this is not right! Sorry for all my complaints but it is reality

      I have a complaint About these Isolate ear buds, what an awful quality the rubber is.!! I am
      Highly dissapointed! IT does not hold in my ear canal and i have also made pictures of the way the rubber is unfolding on the titanium holders. I really hope we can think of a solution as the earbuds are only three months old and I use them once or twice a week and this is the quality!!!! I have also send an email! Please let me know as I want to be happy with isolate! Thank you!

      Earlier this week I had a response to my reply over the original message I had sent, they didn't actually read my original message and thought I wanted to return used isolates (which they can't citing health hazard reasons, which I can understand). They can refund on unopened isolate's but one needs to get in contact with flare before hand.

      These aren't very good for motorcycles. I tried and they didn't work any better than that best foam plugs; but more importantly they make annoying / distracting noise every time they touch/rub on the side of the helmet (eg from wind buffeting or bumps on the road).

      Well that's me done with Flare, no XS small buds for the original and want me to spend out a load more cash on another pair that still might be a load of crap. They could have offered an exchange program but that's not going to happen either.

      Flare go and have a look at Trinity Audio.
      You can learn a great deal from them on how to treat your customers and offer a great service.

      they asked me to write them instead of leaving comments here.
      so i did...

      first of all, they informed that they are not going to develop a xs size earform for the original isolate & isolate PRO. so this part is confirmed!

      secondly, the person who replied said he doesn't understand the 2nd question and asked whether there are any specific parts of it that i would like to get answer from...
      which i wrote to them as below:

      Q2. Like @Kimberly Cavlin, @Petter & other backers had mentioned/feedback, it's not really helpful asking us to fork out more money again, w/o knowing whether with the isolate MiNi, will it be painful after wearing for a while like the original isolate or isolate PRO?
      It's another gamble with our pocket $$$, you know~~
      Because we didn't expect to get a painful experience knowing from using 3M orange earplugs...but, what more can I say, haiz!!!

      To be frank, I tried my isolate PRO with small and medium earforms, both will give the sting in 15-20 minutes use (I can get it in where the base of isolate is aligned with my tragus)...
      Basically, the pain to my ear canals are simply unbearable when using it for sleeping.
      Normal day/work usage really depends on your endurance towards pain...

      I don't really buy it (No Offence) that you develop the isolate MiNi because the 2% aren't happy with their isolate/isolate PRO.
      I believed it is way more than 2%...

      nice try, with that attitude i can be sure, they don't really give an ass about their KS customers.
      we experienced pain and still they can say they do not know what we are nagging about...wow!!!
      it's cool that flare will now be on my banned list.
      now i got 2 sets of isolate PRO for decorations, thank you very much~~

      @ Travis Totally agree with you. My response was totally the same from them. They did offer to refund me £14 I paid to receive extra ear tips. I never received the email regarding these even after emailing enquiring about them. Perhaps Flare just emailed select backers in the hope other backers who paid the extra would just forget? I was told the email must have gone into my spam folder, but I don't have a spam set up on my Kickstarter registered email so that won't be the case, it just wasn't sent to me. I doubt I'll actually get any refund.

      I got a response to a message I sent through the flare website asking about exchanging unopened isolates/pro for the mini's once they're available and the response I got was sorry but they can't exchange or refund for opened product but offered me a small voucher toward their product line. What I took away from the response was tough $hit, we have you money we don't care and we see what we want to see in messages.

      Thanks for ignoring my comments on here explaining that these are not as described & fit for purpose for side sleepers which I specifically asked you about via PM before backing for the Titanium Pro.
      I did PM you as you ignored my comment about the NEW Mini Flare & the response I got from Jonathon was & I quote directly

      "We are sorry to hear that"

      This is very poor customer service!.

      You obviously realised early on that your "one size fits all" for the purposes described was incorrect & your beta pool was either too small or not 100% honest in their feedback.

      Please address this matter for me.

      Also to add insult to injury you send out another email offering myself & others the option to buy more Earfoams at a discount that that are of NO use whatsoever to Me!!.

      Deeply disappointed.

At the same time, backers must understand that when they back a project, they’re helping to create something new — not ordering something that already exists. There may be changes or delays, and there’s a chance something could happen that prevents the creator from being able to finish the project as promised.

      If a creator is unable to complete their project and fulfill rewards, they’ve failed to live up to the basic obligations of this agreement. To right this, they must make every reasonable effort to find another way of bringing the project to the best possible conclusion for backers. A creator in this position has only remedied the situation and met their obligations to backers if:

      they post an update that explains what work has been done, how funds were used, and what prevents them from finishing the project as planned;
      they work diligently and in good faith to bring the project to the best possible conclusion in a timeframe that’s communicated to backers;
      they’re able to demonstrate that they’ve used funds appropriately and made every reasonable effort to complete the project as promised;
      they’ve been honest, and have made no material misrepresentations in their communication to backers; and
      they offer to return any remaining funds to backers who have not received their reward (in proportion to the amounts pledged), or else explain how those funds will be used to complete the project in some alternate form.

      The creator is solely responsible for fulfilling the promises made in their project. If they’re unable to satisfy the terms of this agreement, they may be subject to legal action by backers." The terms clearly states you should do everything to deliver the product as promised. The promise is as stated earlier "fit everyone". The product you sent us very clearly did not fit everyone so you created the mini. Good very good. Now the minis is the corrected product for those that the original did not fit and should therefor be delivered to those affected completely without fee as that the "fit everyone" finished product. Not trying to be a pain in the ass but this is what the terms you creators and we backers agreed upon with kickstarter and clearly according to the terms you owe us to fix this situation and the minis without extra charge or money back is the solution. Thanks.

      I got a response from Flare. Regarding my complaint of discomfort during sleeping they simply referred me to a few alleged positive review quotes from users during sleeping. It was if they don't believe all the backers who are complaining with this issue, as if they perhaps think we are lying or don't know what we are talking about! I don't care about the few positive reviews they've had, I know what I feel when I lay on my side with them in is pain, I'm not an idiot!

      This is the loussiest product I ever got. Sub standard qualtty . The foam gave up in a week.

      Does not work for sleeping as they hurt like hell.

      Total waste of money. Don't even consider buying this. Flare audio statement that it will fit everyone's ears is a total lie. Just read comments bellow - almost no one can wear that badly designed product without feeling pain. Of course refund is not an option as the Flare audio claims that the product we paid for was just a "gift" for supporters, so you can't get a refund for a gift. Very clever! Please go out of business quickly...

      Anyone considering buying these - save your money and put it toward a pair of proper moulded earplugs from ACS. The Flare earplugs are uncomfortable, don't fit properly and for live music provide nothing like the experience they promised - they cut loads of top and midange to the extent that all you hear is muddy bass and with a mess of muffled midrange on top.

      Very disappointing product.

      Seemed like they now chose to selectively response to comments while ignoring and give a blind eyes to folks like us...

      But now, like @Chris has shared, even backers from indiegogo are also facing the same painful experience issues like us original kickstarter backers.

      The best they can now offer is to ask us (kickstarter backers) to buy another piece, which, seriously speaking, we had no idea whether it will cause pain or not.

      I really do not know whether I can put my trust in them in their future products, as well as the way they are doing customer services.

      It's really sad...

      I have to agree with Petter on this ,after a few uses I've discovered however I try to fit them they stick out way to far and when sleeping(its all I use them for) I wake up to serious pain in my ears and they have fallen out or not in the same position these clearly do not fit..,this product is clearly faulty and as pointed out goes quite away from the "will fit anyone" promise ,I've tried the smalls and mediums (large are far to big for me) and no joy ,as you can imagine I'm pretty disappointed and it seems I'm clearly not the only one ,and you are getting the same responses on indiegogo.

      Is there anyway I can send my originals back and get them swapped for a set of minis? (They obviously have been removed from there packaging)

      A25% discount just isn't enough for me to buy another set that would total me upto £75 odd I would of spent on this product and to be quite honest that removes any value this product had let alone that I have to stump up more cash to a company who has blatantly lied to me once already "will fit anyone".

      Please don't reply with your generic please email info@flareaudio.com for refund policy ,as I would like to know what you wish to do and from hearing replies in here and indie gogo I would only be ignored anyway.

      I e-mailed you and got a not too satisfactory reply. Answered that e-mail but haven't gotten any reply. So I have to take it here. Like many others I bought the set expecting a great professional set of earplugs. but they didn't fit and caused a lot of pain. I bought them with the promise they will fit. Quote: "The tips used with ISOLATE® are called EARFOAMS®. They are very easy to fit and come in small, medium and large sizes to ensure ISOLATE® will fit everyone." So I 100% expect you to send me and others with the same problem these new minis as a way to fix the problem as promised "will fit everyone" 25% discount is not ok. Sending us working as promised minis is ok. Thanks
