The Third Life Studio Choreographer Series is a monthly performance series featuring new work from Boston area choreographers.
The Third Life Studio Choreographer Series is a new monthly informal performance series produced by Kelley Donovan. It gives Boston area choreographers a venue to try out new work in an informal setting or to show more developed work. The intimate setting of Third Life Studio creates an opportunity for busy dance artists to see one anothers work, to network and for audience members to see established artist and up and coming dancers and choreographers they might not otherwise be exposed to.
After each show there will be time to chat with choreographers, colleagues and audience at the end of the evening providing an opportunity to develop audience, visibility, network and find collaborators. Choreographers help to promote the evening, expanding audience for all who participate.
The Third Life Studio Choreographer Series plans to present five choreographers per show each month from September through December. Since February 2012, the series has presented the work of over 20 choreographers including, Alissa Cardone, Lorraine Chapman, Rebecca Rice, Margot Parsons, Kairos Dance Theater, Ingrid Schatz, DeAnna Pellecchia, Gabriella Orcha, Shannon Luchs, Angela Conte, Kate Nies Brigham, Courtney Stellmach, Samantha Wilson, Anna Reyes, Bosoma Dance Company, Heather Bryce Labor, Zoe Dance, Impact Dance Company, Cambridge Dance Company, Chienwe Hong/1000 Virtues, Jennifer Lin, Sharon Montella, Sarah Slifer, Olivier Besson & Chandra Cantor, Aparna Das, Wendy Jehlen, Katie Bartelson and Kelley Donovan & Dancers.
