About this project
Mad Science U is a concept we've been working on for 7 years. We have years worth of stories and are ready to turn it into an ongoing series. But first we have to do this graphic novel to launch it all!
It costs money to make a comic. The artist needs to eat. Julian will be working full time for at least 5 months on the project, we'd like to keep him supplied with Ramen Noodles and Orange Juice while he's working.
First he needs to pencil the art based on the script, we'll work with him DAILY to make sure the look matches the tone of the script. Julian will also Ink, color and letter the book. All time consuming tasks. We're expecting the whole project to take 5 months to complete.
Printing: Making physical copies of a book this big isn't cheap.
Rewards: It costs money to create all the awesome benefits you the contributor will receive.
Logline: Kevin Landon goes to the most secretive College in the world off the coast of Florida in the Bermuda Triangle. When Kevin’s girlfriend is kidnapped by an evil sorority that has been stealing the brains of Freshmen girls for 80 years so they can stay in college forever he and his group of quirky friends must rescue her before it is too late.
Synopsis: Kevin Landon doesn't want to go to college-period-but his parents have given him an ultimatum:Go to school,or get out of the house. Due to a clerical error, Kevin is mistaken for a super-genius and enrolled in the most exclusive, most mysterious college on the planet: the Madiport Island University of Science. Located on an island off the coast of Florida in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle this school is sometimes referred to by another name: Mad Science U.
Now,Kevin finds himself surrounded by eccentric professors (who can flunk him), incomprehensible super-science(that he must learn before the midterm),and the most gifted student geniuses in the world. Anyone of them might fashion a crude jet pack in the garage, build an android from a cow’s brain or perhaps even clone the family dog. Just when Kevin thinks he might be able to adapt, his new girlfriend is targeted by a relentless sorority of beautiful, yet evil, co-eds who seek to enjoy college forever by stealing new bodies for their aging brains.
Mad Science U is a technological paradise and a B-movie nightmare of aliens, monsters and mad scientists.

We can't do this without your support, we're really excited to make this graphic novel for everyone to enjoy, we love the concept and so do a couple of great supporters of ours as you'll see in the video.
Thanks so much for your support, let's go make a great book together!
Risks and challenges
With any project problems can always arise. Usually delays happen in comics because the art is taking too long to create. Well that's why Julian is going to be doing nothing but working on this book till it's done. Mad Science U will be his full time job.
In the event Julian can't complete the work we have backup artists on standby just in case.
The script is already completed, so no need to worry about writing the story.
Creating the rewards will start right away so we have plenty of time to get those made for all our supporters.
We've worked with printers over the years and know exactly how and what needs to be done to print the physical book.
We've worked under pressure and under deadlines and are professionals who are used to high pressure work situations. We're treating this just like a job and are working hard to get everything done on time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
