Addicting the Nation, one bite of buttercream sugar cookie at a time!
In 2007, Swoon began as PS Sweets, when Paula Hahn started serving her delectable and beautifully decorated sugar cookies at art gallery openings hosted by her daughter-in-law, Sofia Varanka Hudson. When the crowds kept coming back for more sugar cookies, Sofia realized a business was to be had.
In 2010, Sofia joined creative forces with architect/moonlight baker, Lauren Wendlandt, who generously offered her kitchen to allow the business to grow. This spring Lauren had to sell her building and Swoon needs to build a new home. Due to their anticipated growth, Swoon would like to build a licensed commercial kitchen large enough for new wholesale and national opportunities.
The talented forces at Meers Advertising saw potential in the little cookie company and offered to assist in building a strong brand identity for the bakery. In 2011, PS Sweets morphed into the sophisticated Swoon. With a sleek new look and a name to match, this cookie company is ready to spread its wings conquer the country.
Your generosity will not go unrewarded! Please consider donating a pinch, a tablespoon or a cup and Swoon will send you sweet thanks in return.
