We Made It!!!!!!!

Posted by Taylor Dunne & Eric Stewart (Creator)

Thanks to all of you we have officially reached our goal and with 3 days to spare! Thank you so much! We couldn't have done it without you!! We can't believe it! We are AMAZED by all of the support we have received from across the globe!

To build on all this momentum we are having a $2000 stretch goal to support a research trip to visit the Idaho National Laboratory (read more about that below).

If you can find the time and energy to share our project through your social media during the final countdown we would really appreciate it!

We also have new press and some exciting news! Sam Weisberg published an extensive interview with Taylor Dunne and Eric Stewart about Off Country in Screen Comment.

This weekend Taylor and Eric will be on a panel (tonight at 8 pm) at the Denver Film Festival called "Persistence of Medium" where they will be discussing analogue film in the 21st century along with other members of their collective Process Reversal. They also have film installations at the McNichols Civic Center Building and they will be showing work in the program Process Reversal: Seven Films on Sunday, November 5th.

Stretch Goal Details:

Research Trip to Idaho National LaboratoryThis is the location of the first operational nuclear power plant but it is also where the contaminated material form Rocky Flats was stored. Later, under pressure from the Idaho legislature the contaminated material was removed and they did a better job cleaning up the stored waste from Rocky Flats then they did cleaning up Rocky Flats itself.

Transportation (1,480 x .54/mile) $800
Lodging (7 nights x $93/day GSA) $651
Kodak 7266 ($26.63/roll x 5) $133
Processing/Telecine (500ft x .65/ft) $325

Total: $1,900

Thanks for your support!
