iMotion is a sleek device, that is small enough to fit in your pocket. It is 2.3 in (6 cm) wide, 2.7 in (7 cm) long and 0.4 in (1 cm) thick. It's approximately the size of the palm of an average hand, and extremely light.
No, iMotion can be worn not only on your hands, head, belt or feet and legs, but you can also attach it to an object (lets say a sword). We encourage developers, and you as the user as well, to experiment get creative.
The ToolKit comes with every iMotion and enables you to customize the control of your existing PC and Mobile to work with iMotion. This does not require any programming skills, and comes with an easy interface that allows you to map functions from your mouse and keyboard to iMotion. Create your own gesture settings or choose from a pre-defined library.
We will provide several tools and means to help you get started with iMotion. Aside of the SDK, which will be available soon, we will have separate channels of communication open only to active developers. We encourage creativity and welcome feedback and input. Only with your help will we be able to bring iMotion to a broad audience.
The unique haptic feedback in iMotion enables amazing experiences like never before. Imagine a game of whack-a-mole, where you actually feel the impact, depending on the speed of your hand. Or create a virtual touch screen in the air, which lets you "feel" the press of a button.
Our technology can recognize multiple light sources of different colors with just one camera; therefore several iMotions can be used to create a single screen multi-player games experience.
The game doesn't have to support simultaneous game play - it can be turn-by-turn.
The iMotion haptic feedback signal can be sent by the game to a specific player too.
