Conjoined: The Atari 2600 Game is a new homebrew game based on the low-budget feature film by the same name. The game is programmed by Gemintronic's Jason Santuci, who worked closely with the film's director Joe Grisaffi to design the game.
When a lonely man finds out the love of his life has a conjoined twin, who happens to be a serial killer, he must take drastic measures to keep his love life intact while keeping himself out of big trouble.
Gameplay synopsis on the box:
Stanley fell in love with Alina on a dating website. He promised to marry her before learning her secret: she has an angry conjoined twin sister, Alisa. Stanley must separate the two if his relationship with Alina is to have a chance.
You play Stanley. You must catch the hearts Alina is throwing to you while avoiding the broken hearts and daggers Alisa is throwing at you. With a little skill, you might just make it to the operation!
Note: The label on the cartridges pictured below is the label for the limited edition version, only available in Reward #6. The other cartridge options will not have the "/50" box on the label, but the label will be the same otherwise.
The game and DVD are only available in NTSC format. DVD is all regions.
Reward #1: A link to watch the movie online. $1 or more.
Reward #2: A Conjoined DVD autographed by director Joe Grisaffi. $10 or more.
Reward #3: A Conjoined Atari game cartridge and instruction manual. $20 or more. The manual for the loose version will be different than the limited edition version and will be printed once we know how many we need. The cartridge will not be numbered, so please disregard the "/50", that will not be the label of the loose cartridge options. Game is NTSC format only.
Reward #4: $28 or more. A Conjoined Atari game cartridge, instruction manual (to be printed at the end of the campaign) and DVD autographed by director Joe Grisaffi. The cartridge will not be numbered, so please disregard the "/50", that will not be the label of the loose cartridge options. Game is NTSC format only.
Reward #5: A Conjoined Atari game cartridge, instruction manual (to be printed at the end of the campaign), DVD autographed by the director and a limited edition lapel pin (only 100 made). The cartridge will not be numbered, so please disregard the "/50", that will not be the label of the loose cartridge options. $35 or more. Game is NTSC format only.
Reward #6: $60. A limited edition game set including numbered game cartridge and box (limited to 50 numbered - cartridge, box and manual will be numbered. The " /50" is printed on them, and we will write the number by hand), instruction manual, Certificate of Authenticity signed by programmer Jason Santuci, director Joe Grisaffi and AtariAge's Albert Yarusso, and limited edition lapel pin. The limited edition will also include a DVD autographed by the director Joe Grisaffi (who will also number the DVD), but also signed by some of the main cast: Tom Long (Stanley), Michelle Ellen Jones (Alina), Keefer Barlow (Alisa) and Sara Gaston (Detective Waters). Limited editions not sold during this campaign will not have the additional autographs. Reward #6 is the only option for numbered cartridges. Numbers will be assigned in the order of the pledges made. (Note: #s 1, 2, 3 and 4 are already taken.) Game is NTSC format only.
(Full disclosure: 54 boxes were printed so there would be replacements if one gets damaged before shipping. If no boxes are damaged, the remaining four may be released at a later date, but not numbered.)
Who we are:
My name is Joe Grisaffi. I am an actor, filmmaker and avid video game collector in Houston, TX. I have dedicated many years to my craft of filmmaking, producing and directing my first short film in 1995 (Death and a Salesman) and my first feature film in 1998 (Laughing Boy.) You can see my entire filmography here: www.imdb.me/joegrisaffi, and my Facebook page is here: www.facebook.com/joegrisaffi
Growing up, I wanted to be a video game designer, but I never pursued programming beyond the most basic of basic programming. Fortunately, I met programmer Jason Santuci and he helped me realize this childhood dream.
Jason Santuci has worked in the I.T. industry for decades. Positions Jason has held include tech monkey, software tester and finally Indie Game Developer. Focusing on using beginner friendly tools, Jason has created over a dozen games on platforms ranging from Atari 2600, Sega Genesis and PC.
If you'd like to watch Conjoined right now, the film can be found on Amazon Instant ($1.99), and if you can find the Independent Network Channel (INC) on your Roku device, you can watch it right now for free.
“This movie is everything I love about the genre, and definitely holds it's own against much larger productions that are missing the heart of this awesome film!” – Cinema Clown
“…a disgustingly delightful romp.” – Patrick Dolan, Rue Morgue

Note to collectors: If the Conjoined game continues to be sold after this campaign, the label will have some sort of change to separate those cartridges from the ones bought during this campaign.
Thank you very much for taking a look at our campaign!
Risks and challenges
The risks and challenges of this project have already been faced. The game is programmed, the limited edition boxes and some of the cartridges are already in hand. It was important to me to have as much ready as possible before launching this campaign. The remainder of the cartridges will be manufactured as the campaign progresses.
The wait to receive your perks should be minimal. Our goal is to start shipping by September if not sooner. Rewards #1 and #2 will be delivered in July.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
