LymeZone is a 100% original ad-free kids comic based around the town of Lyme Regis.
Currently being sold in 6 locations around the town (details below), the 8-page first issue includes creative puzzles, a town-wide treasure hunt challenge and a fossiling guide for young dinosaur hunters - not to mention our full-colour comic strips, featuring your favourite Lyme locations!
In LymeZone you'll find a crafty seagull looking to steal pasties from The Galley Café, eccentric fossil hunters Eva Lution and Dr. Tapper giving a surreal lesson in geology at Black Ven, and the true story of a collie cross named Lassie - thought to have inspired the fictional dog of the same name - who lived 100 years ago at The Pilot Boat Inn.
LymeZone is a rare and precious thing: a completely independent and ad-free children's publication with original characters, drawn and written by just one dedicated cartoonist, focused on one amazing town. Now, you can help make the second issue of LymeZone a reality by lending your support.
If our fundraising goal is reached, a new, bigger and better 16-page issue of LymeZone will be ready for everyone to enjoy come summer 2016, and if you pledged us money here on kickstarter, you will have a copy delivered straight to your door. If you're feeling generous, we are offering bigger and better rewards to those who give a little more, including bonus comics, signed prints and even a chance to appear as a character in the new issue!
If you live in the town, love it, or just love homegrown art made by real people with passion, please support LymeZone and give the kids of Lyme Regis something to be proud of. Pledge us just a small amount and we pledge to give you another 16 pages of fresh, colourful, independent fun!

Risks and challenges
LymeZone is a completely solo venture, so the responsibility for getting the work done rests solely on me. Although I am confident that I have more than enough time to produce 16 pages of content by the start of the summer, there is always the possibility of unprecedented snags or delays - but rest assured that no matter what happens, if the fundraising goal is reached, a second issue of LymeZone will be with you by autumn 2016.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
