G'day Tribal Chiefs!

Just a quick update today to share a couple of videos that we've put together to help show off the Turn Based Variant for Eye for an Eye.

We suggest that you watch the first video below before watching the full play through as it will give you an idea of the changes that have occurred for the Turn Based Variant. We'd love to hear what you think, so please feel free to comment, or ask questions below. If you know someone that doesn't like realtime, but would love this game, let them know that it now does both realtime and turn based gameplay and direct them to these videos.

As the turn based variant is a new offering for our game, it will hopefully broaden the appeal of the game for those that do not enjoy realtime games. We need your help in getting this information out there, so please consider sharing these videos with your favourite boardgame groups that you're active within to get the news out there.

TURN BASED VARIANT INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW (6mins)

TURN BASED FULL GAMEPLAY (30mins)

Thanks for checking them out. We are going to get back to re-jigging the campaign and we'll talk to you all soon!

Cheers,
Ben and Shae

      Thanks guys!
You are right Karl, a new player playing against an experienced player is often pretty lopsided. When teaching I normally encourage the other players to team up against me. There are some things to help balance that out a bit. But the turn based variant does allow a more gradual introduction into the system.

      This sounds great.
You have probably heard this before, but where real time play really falls flat is when introducing the game to new players; Experienced players have such a huge advantage that the new player will almost always be completely overwhelmed. Applying much of the same mechanics as practical to the game will allow new players to learn the as game gently as possible before diving into realtime. Looking forward to the return.
