About this project
We are asking for backers to help us shoot the movie. We would like to create a small town to look like Mexico and create the sets that will be a part of the movie. We will need to hire a director, producer, camera crew, actors/actresses and other necessary people to get the film created.
It is our goal to shoot the film and send it to independent film festivals so it can reach the screen and tell the story of hispanics living in Mexico and their plight. Many people see illegal immigrants and don't take the time to wonder what it is they have gone through and why do they not just stay in Mexico. Our story will tell the why. It will take people through the lives of Maria, Jose, and their children and show everyone exactly why you cannot have a good life in Mexico.
Your assistance in backing our movie will enable us to film it, take it to the independent film festivals, and have a chance to make it to the screen and tell a story. If it is not picked at the festivals then we will go straight to video, but we believe our story is so compelling that it will be a major contender at the film festivals.
Please pause after each screen and you can see each screen and read a few of our scenes.
