Greetings, lovely people!
After the success of last year's campaign for the Forgotten Legion short story The March, I felt inspired to see if you would be interested in another one. A rough poll on Facebook seemed to suggest that you *are* interested, so here we go. Tullus, the grizzled centurion from the Eagles books was a clear winner. I haven't yet decided when I will set it, but it will *either* be during the Pannonian War (AD 6-9), or after Eagles in the Storm (approx. AD 18-20). Fenestela, his trusty optio, will be in it too. At least 10,000 words in length, there will be comradeship, battles, bloodshed and humour - I can already picture some of them! Some of you will feature in the story as well - see the reward packages for details.
NOTE: If the demand is there, I may be able to offer this short story in paper format, but I reserve the right not to do so. As it stands, this short story will ONLY be available in digital format. If you do not use an e-reader, or only want this story in paper format, please DO NOT pledge. Thank you.
Ben
Risks and challenges
I'll do my best to have this written by the end of February 2019, but I hope to have it done sooner. I reserve the right to delay that release, however, depending on how well the project is going.
