I grew up in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. I was a pretty average guy. Perhaps too average, and maybe that is what drove me to join the Marine Corps. I was deployed to Iraq in 2004, but my experience there changed my life for ever. Since then I've become a student and an anti-war activist. Today I run the Justice For Fallujah Project and I'm a graduate student in linguistics at the University of Delaware.
