About

Description:

The iRoo interface enables you to manipulate and control Roomba's behavior and read its sensors through a series of commands.  You can tell the Roomba when to wake up, when to clean, and when to shut off, also remotely drive your Roomba from your iPhone via Bluetooth.

Our next product will incorporate the iRoo and video conferencing/ virtual tours. We already have a working mobile solution for video conferencing, and want to add mobility to the platform by having an automated, robotic device; which iRoo will provide. Below is the link to what we already have software develop for and this provides an example of the concept we are implementing.

Our Mission:

Our mission is simple: to provide cutting edge technology to the consumer market to enhance their lifestyle, through integrated sensory creations to be controlled by mobile devices.  Our core team stays on the cutting edge of technology offering the latest affordable applications that meet the consumer and market demands.  Our global team culture fosters collaborative, interactive, technologies that meet your needs.  Our strategy and consumer satisfaction offer durability, flexibility, and efficiency.

With the launch of the iRoo, we plan to immediately add six new creative and useful projects to our arsenal of innovative creations.  We are now completely focused on the success of our new integrated solutions.  With your help, we can focus on completing the working prototype with all of the key functionality of the software, hardware development, for the iPhone application that controls the Roomba device.  With the communities backing we will finally be able to put the iRoo project into the production stage, and the delivery of the final product to the public.

Our Team:

Our team consists of engineers, designers, and creative inventors with varying work experience from small to large technical companies in the US.  The goal of the team is to create and distribute cost effective sensory integrated creations, to be conveniently used with mobile devices.  We want to enhance your life with the newest, cutting edge technology available, to assist with menial tasks that enhance the individual experience with managing multiple priorities and needs.

Our highly specialized expert technical team demonstrates a diverse skill-set  which diligently strives to ensure delivery of applications and hardware design with high usability, scalability and uniqueness.

 Our Fundraising Goal:

Even if you don’t have a Roomba vacuum cleaning robot, we are inviting you  to support our initial project iRoo, so that we can start development on other sensory integrated and mobile device products, which will make everyone’s life easier and breathe new life into a field of technology that can be afforded by all.

Click to contribute, if you are not able to contribute please help spread the word.  We are really excited about helping create a Jetson’s & Star Trek like kind of future for everyone.

Thanks for your support.

Risks and challenges

There are always significant risks and challenges when manufacturing and delivering any software or hardware product to the consumer market. Mass production and the manufacturing of a product is a much more comprehensive process compared to the prototype stage; besides making the hardware and the software work seamlessly together, there is exhausting testing for every scenario possible. Our goal is to create products that are reliable and can be manufactured efficiently and cost effectively in large volumes.
Fortunately, we have been working closely with manufacturers abroad and locally, establishing partnerships with our different vendors to get the best products to the market. We are focused on working together to create production procedures, and end of line testing, to guarantee a successful launch of our product line.
Even with our attention to detail, there are still risks associated with producing our products. Unexpected changes in component lead times, availability, and cost, are a few examples that are outside of our control. We work to mitigate these issues, by working with multiple vendors and manufacturers.
Our agile software development process has been crucial in helping bring down the risks of defects, and bugs in the software. For our hardware process, we have taking on consulting experts, such as schematic layout designers, printed circuit board designer, and electrical engineers. We feel confident that our approach will reduce risks, and deliver a superior product.
