First MMO RPG chat bot for messengers.
And in fact the first messenger chat bot on Kickstarter at the moment.

Text-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game delivered to its native environment of fast-growing messengers via chatbot solution. Just imagine old-school MUD experience with convenience of contemporary chatbot.

Player interacting with gaming world by sending simple text commands or pressing buttons with lovely icons right in his messenger. Moving on map by choosing direction to go, killing a monster by sending a /kill command, picking up items and managing inventory by clicking simple links in incoming messages.

Each map location may contain Items, NPC («non-player character»), monsters and other players. Player can take, drop and wear items, talk to NPC, attack a monster, fight or chat with other players.

Each NPC is in fact independent chatbot with its scenario and kind of artificial intelligence. NPC can offer a quest, cure, restore strength, give you a new skill, sell or buy items and so on. Quests suggest players to find items («Please collect some Silver and Red mushrooms for me»), killing monsters («Can you clear Eelion Mill from rats»), making some work («Bring this letter to Rancis in Wilford») as well as more complex scenarios including decision making that influence game process.

Gaming world at the moment represented by a single Island called Dorwine with its cities and villages, dungeons, lakes and rivers, temples, ruins, caves, deserts and jungles it's a huge territory to explore. Gameplay includes travelling, extensive trading, discovering new characters, materials and ingredients.

In-game player’s manual describes all the details of gaming process. Special messenger groups and channels are open for discussions and game news distribution. There is already a community of players taking part in product development.

Where we are?

Game is already up and running. You can @playrpgbot for Telegram Messenger on any mobile device or desktop version of Telegram. We consider the game is in early Alpha, thought it is already full-functional vast gaming world with 250+ unique locations, 500+ items, 5 cities, 10+ dungeons, 50+ kinds of monstrosities and growing. Every aspect described below is already set up, tested and working. 

At the moment there are three race, three items classes, 8 skills defining which class of armor and weapon would have best performance, 7 sizes of monsters and 12 types of NPC. 

All items in game are classified as Common, Uncommon (mostly common things with some additional value or effects), Rare (all Dragon items) and Unique.

Common weapons and armor classification made by level: Ancient / Rusty → Iron (Level 1) → Steel (Level 2) → Bronze (Level 3) → Silver (Level 5) → Golden (Level 10). Golden are the most powerful base items. Adding effects to these types of items makes them Uncommon (so steel item with powerful effects can beat simple Golden). 

Every of these items have additional distribution to items class - Light / Medium / Heavy. Skills defines the ability to use classes: Speed for Light, Agility for Medium, Power for Heavy.

Adamantine items is exception to these rules, has even more power than Gold items, uses all of the above mentioned skills and has no limit on level, but is extremely hard to get.

Project Development.

Project is in constant development, every day we are trying to bring new features, extend gaming world and invite new players to «Dragon Islands». What we need is your support to put it on a global scale.

Project Roadmap.

1. Translate game interface to 10+ more languages and gaming world to at least 5 languages to make it accessible worldwide.

We almost made translation of the game to 5+ languages with support of players and enthusiasts. Though that is only interface. Messengers are really multinational platforms which are used by millions of people all over the world. Game is mainly text-based so most of content in gaming world – locations names and description, quests, scenarios and NPC dialogues are in text. There is really a plenty of work to do.

2. Expand gaming world.

Three islands, 75+ towns and villages, 3000+ locations, 100+ NPCs, 50-100 quests, 500+ monsters. The gaming world you would love to discover.

3. Functionality and gameplay.

Make our player's wish list real:

• Magic (Spells, Scrolls);
• Clans (Collective Fighting);
• Real Estate (Castles, Homes);
• Guilds (Skills Development);
• Mining, crafting, PvP trading;
• Locations and Items Images;
• Core plot for single mode.

All the requests sent to official game group are listed. Every feedback is taken in consideration.

4. Provide game with powerful servers to keep it running fast.

As the game becomes more popular, we need to deal with high-load. Scripts optimization potential has it's limit, so we need good hardware.

5. Deploy to other platforms.

Telegram Bot API is certainly the best platform to start a bot with, but we also plan launching the game on other platforms to make it available for a wider audience. We are tracking updates on core messenger platforms (Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Kik, Viber, WeChat and may be even Slack or Whatsapp) for chat bot implementation opportunities. As soon as it will become possible we'll start to expand.

We invested a lot of our time and money to launch absolutely new product on an entirely new platform with kind of unpredictable future. Kickstarter was always a good proof-of-concept. We genuinely hope our project can inspire launch of other chat bot projects out there. Chat bot revolution is coming - help us shape the future!

Diamonds are the main recourse in the game. You can use it to restore health (to keep fighting) and strength (to keep exploring the world), gain rare items, turn into any materials or change to a gold.

Most expensive pledging opportunities offers absolutely incredible value - having your own real estate right in the center of main Island. Castle will be built by your requirements, accommodating plenty of space to store all your apparel and items. Every other player would see it on map and on their way. Give it your name and distribute the room keys if you wish - reserve them for your clan members or rule it in your sole discretion. And as it is a real estate may be you can sell it later even for a bigger price.

All backers would receive unique jewellery marking their participation in early game development. All limited pledging options also offers an opportunity to put backer name in game credits.
