The funding is being used for the self-publishing, release launch, and marketing for my new book, Noesis. Cover design, printing, eBook configuration (for all formats), and professional editing services will also be included, as well as book return insurance, required by brick and mortar book retailers before the book will be physically stocked in the stores. This book is a follow-up to my recently published book, The Irreducible Primary.
My work is an unapologetic challenge to social attitudes, government practices, and human interactions in the context of what we cling to as our spiritual beliefs. The perspectives I offer are reflective of my travels throughout the world, my military and law enforcement experiences, and my own spiritual evolution. An excerpt from an editorial review of The Irreducible Primary concisely captures the intent of my writing:
"Mr. Taylor pulls no punches, but the engrossed reader is left unassaulted – retaining only a sense of mindfulness, compassion, and gratitude as exhibited by this amazing author."
I sometimes combine my writing with my photography. Examples of my work can be viewed at https://robtaylor-writer.com/.
Noesis is 95% complete and will be ready to begin the publishing process by April 1, 2018, provided the funding is available. After the launch of Noesis is complete, I will continue with my third book already in progress.

Risks and challenges
As the book is nearly complete, there is little risk of the project not meeting the schedule of July 2018. Any risk that might be associated with editing or content is marginalized by the fact that I have recently and successfully published my first book.
I will be posting project updates throughout the duration of this funding endeavor.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
