See what's happening in arts, music and culture in Brooklyn and beyond in Issue # 11, Print # 3 The Relationship Issue.
Working Class began in 2007 as an online zine that has now been in print for the past two issues. What began as the idea that a couple of kids from Greenpoint could start a magazine profiling the rapidly growing art scene in the area is now an actual website and print zine read by hundreds of people in that same community.
The project continues to grow and expand through friends and friends of friends, including more of the community's art, music, fashion and social scenes. To date, all the work is done for free. Working Class is happy to provide our free zine to the community.
We have been hard at work on Issue #11 Print #3, "The Relationship Issue". We wanted to explore various aspects of relationships and what that word means to people. The official launch date for the site was August 1, 2010, and we are hoping the printing costs will be fully funded by August 25 so we can pay the printer and get it out on the streets by the beginning of September.
All funds we receive will be used solely for the printing costs of our third printed issue, which will be available for free at local coffee shops, boutiques and bookstores throughout Brooklyn and New York City.
Like we said, nobody gets paid to do this project. We do it for the love of the art and the people that make it. Our goal is to get the work of these talented folks on the streets and into the hands of people in the community and beyond.

A Day In The Life: If you're willing to come to Brooklyn, we'll have you as our special guest on a shoot with our amazing creative team. You never know what we may be doing that day. It could be a fashion story with a model, a profile on an artist, or something else cool that we're sure you'll enjoy. Either way you'll get a nice free meal and a picture of you and whomever we are shooting that day. We'll also throw in a half page ad of your art, your business, or even just you that we will design for you and include in an upcoming issue.

We would love to meet anyone that believes in Working Class as much as we do, so this is an official invitation to come to Working Class Headquarters aka Marcel the editor's loft in Greenpoint, for a night with the contributors of the Relationship Issue to eat food, have some cocktails and celebrate another one done in a more intimate setting. You will also get a full page ad in an upcoming issue that we will design for you, a year subscription and all the other goodies that were mentioned above.
