The Artifacts of Adventure hardcover is a series of 8 dungeons adventures from The Folio: Digital Quarterly #1-#5 as well as The Folio: True Level Adventures #1-#3. Written in both 1st Edition & 5th Edition fantasy gaming formats. It encapsulates standard fantasy as well as detailing the adventure possibilities of incorporating fantasy steampunk into your campaigns in a kind of 'time jump' reality. 2D (classic blue) maps help spin a story of struggle, martial prowess, and ingenuity.
Content from these adventures has never been in print before, so this is the first time anyone will have a chance to stack these incredible adventures on their shelves!
Our goal is to replicate the 128 page format of the old TSR ‘orange bound’ AD&D series of hardcovers from the early 1980s (Stranger Things anyone?), and like those hardcovers, this will be covered with a beautiful swords & sorcery inspired piece of artwork by artist Jeff Easley, who did all those classic covers.
If you’ve ever dreamed (like I have) of one day getting to expand your old 'orange collection', then now is the time. Or, if you are a 5th Edition player and are looking for a great way to introduce players to the system while hankering back to the old days, look no further.
My Project: Restating the above, Artifacts of Adventure is a 1st Edition & 5th Edition mega-dungeon adventure hardcover. It will be produced as an 8 1/2x11” matte hardcover with both b/w & color interiors. The current page count is scheduled for 128, although this may vary up slightly.
Who’s it for? ALL gamers, both new gamers and old gamers as it is easily expandable or playable as is.The concept is to allow gamers to explore time-spanning fantasy settings with various intrigues only found in each. The base mechanic will be for 1st Edition with 5th Edition stat blocks in grey.

When? The great thing about this project is that these adventures have already been created, we are just looking to compile them into a print format for all you book collectors. This means we should have little problem hitting our October shipping goal, although some stretch goals might impact that slightly depending on what else might be included in the book.
I can’t do this without you: Art of the Genre needs your help! We've trimmed out all excess costs and have a break even amount of $10,000. This covers the printing, shipping, & redesign, to create this OSR tribute. We have already devoted countless hours to seeing this product come together, but to make it ‘real’ and available to all players, we need your help. We believe in this dream, and we hope you do too!
What happens if we pass the goal? If we pass the goal, we hope to be able to continue to add in refinements and bonus material to the book. Remember, this already includes eight incredible adventures, so the more we can expand the story for you, the more fun is available to you and your players.
What is in a Digital Quarterly? These modules featured a single adventure that was based either around a steampunk based setting (DQ#1-#2) or a true fantasy setting (DQ#3-#4) and a combined adventure that takes place in two time periods with DQ#5. Gazetteers in the first two help give the DM information on how to run the setting within AD&D and 5E.
THESE INCREDIBLE DIGITAL QUARTERLY COVERS WILL FINALLY SEE PRINT!
How do the dungeons look? They are all 2D blue hex dungeons, and you can see them below. All maps are easy to use and set up for miniature builds as well, and the PDF version of this hardcover will have VTT versions of all maps in a booklet for DMs to use!
What did the Folio: True Level Adventures feature? These three modules featured a unique set up that makes each a perfect single level of advancement. #1 Takes all classes in AD&D (except Barbarian) from level 1 to level 2, and #2 Takes all classes (again, save Barbarian) to from level 2 to level 3, etc. They are also perfectly balanced for 5E D&D play as well, and take characters up a single level in each.
What does a physical Folio look like? Check out the video below if you'd like to see what a true Folio module looks like in case you are looking into the $500 pledge level.
