The Curse of Roslof Keep is a campaign that I always wanted to share with gamers, but I was never sure it would be something that people could actually utilize. It’s a high level campaign built on the framework of the original lower level Roslof Keep campaign, and as such there needed to be a certain amount of interest in Roslof as a whole to warrant inviting players into a high level version.
However, thanks to the amazing response over the past few years to the original Roslof, I was able to bring this creation to the public in July 2018. Then, after working on getting this full six part campaign done over the past two years, I’m become very pleased with how it has turned out. These final two adventures are the home stretch for the mega-dungeon, and all the creative marbles, twists, and promises of the previous four have gone into them.
If you’ve missed the previous adventures, now is the perfect time to collect them all and see what other players and DMs have been enjoying (or dreading when it comes to player difficulty, lol). Whatever the case, I truly hope we can all finish up this monster campaign with a huge success, and I look forward to ending everything with a lot of laughs, cheers, and hard-won levels!
My Project: This project consists of two separate Folio adventures, each containing close to 30 pages of adventure content, a new monster, 2D and 3D dungeon, and removable 'DM Screen' type covers. They are in 1st edition AD&D and 5th edtion D&D rules sets, and are designed for higher level adventures 12+.
Who’s it for? ALL gamers, both new gamers and old gamers as it is easily expandable or playable as is. These two adventures are based around the endgame of The Curse of Roslof Keep mega-dungeon campaign, but they can be used independently as a standard dungeon level. The base mechanic will be for 1st Edition with 5th Edition stat blocks in grey.
When? These adventures are the end result of two years worth of work by Art of the Genre, and although I suspect them to be done in the next three months, the window for full fulfillment is set for June 2020.
What are the other Folio products in The Curse of Roslof Keep? There are 4 other Folios in the series (making 6 in the full campaign. Each details a single level of the Kasbah Dungeon, and magical construct that lies beneath a distant city. All are set for high level campaigning, recommended for levels 10+. All have the same removable covers, 3D & 2D dungeons, and are in 1E AD&D and 5th Edition D&D formats.
What do the maps look like? The maps in these volumes are some of the most fun. You get a standard OSR 'Blue Map', and then the interior removable covers of the Folios have 3D renderings for the dungeon level!
Remember, AotG can’t do this without you: Art of the Genre needs your help! We've trimmed out all excess costs and have a break even amount of $3,000. This covers the printing, shipping, & design, to create this OSR and newer edition tribute. We have already devoted countless hours to seeing this product come together, but to make it ‘real’ and available to all players, we need your help. We believe in this dream, and we hope you do too!
What happens if we pass the goal? If we pass the goal, we hope to be able to continue to add in refinements and bonus material to the Folios through stretch goals.

Risks and challenges
As a fantasy fiction imprint working exclusively on Kickstarter, Art of the Genre has produced and fulfilled 8 novels using this platform as well as delivering 21 Folios early to all backers! We've also produced 5 hardcovers and over 2 dozen digital adventures here on this platform as well!
This is a personal passion project for all the authors and artists involved, so we are as anxious as our backers to see these volumes become a reality as quickly as possible.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
