Majestic is a competitive FREE TO PLAY fast strategic card game developed by Italian Indie Game Company MoonWolf Entertainment created by 2 young Game Designers wishing to create an all new gaming experience.Players can build decks that have a total of 20 cards.When building a deck, you can only use two copies of the same card if their rarity is rare or below. Cards that have a rarity of Epic or higher cannot have multiple copies. You can put in a deck not more than 4 legendary cards , not more than 4 Mythical cards and not more than 6 epic cards .You can find these cards in packs that you can buy on the shop.Every packs contain 5 cards, 1 card is 100% a Rare Card or more, and the other 4 cards gonna be of a random rarity. The game also offers customization in the form of Card Skins and Player Icons.You will receive one free pack every 3 consecutive days in a row that you log in the game.Also, every ranked match ( max 5 per day) won you'll get 5 ZdL, in-game currency. You can buy a card pack with 100ZdL or use them on Skins and Icons.
Every time you win 3 ranked matches in a row, you will be able to copy an opponent's card in your inventory that you have conquered in the match.
You will also earn experience for every game you play, and receive a free pack every 5 levels
You can choose to play a friendly game with a random player or one of your friends.
The game offers a competitive mode where you will be placed against a player of similar rank.
Majestic has two separate competitive leagues: the Rare League, where you can play cards that are up to Rare quality, and the Legendary League, where all cards are allowed. This league offers the best rewards at end of season.
The ranks are identified by different material swords and composed by 5 pieces, they progress depending on how many matches you win (ex. winning a match as Wood 1 will advance you to Wood 2)
We have a roadmap for expansions that should allow us to release a new one every 5 months.
The release of an expansion will also cause the end of a competitive season.
Expansions include new features such as game mechanics, new Gameboards and Cards.
When you win a ranked match you gain a stack of your rank, and when you lose a ranked match you lose one.
When you have earned all the stacks in a rank you will be placed into promotion, where you have to win a series of matches in a best-of-3 rule.
This promotion system exists until platinum. After platinum the rule becomes best-of-5 . If you Lose all staks from a rank you'll have 3 safe match that you can lose before you get declassified.
To became a Majer ( the highest rank in the game ) you have to win just one match after you get the full rank of elementia. The Majers are the best players of Majestic The Card Game.
While you are a majer and you win a match you'll gain 100 points + the number of cards conquered in that match. When you lose one you only lose 25 points + the number of the cards lost.
The ranks are Wood (1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) , Bronze ( 1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) , Silver ( 1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) ,Gold ( 1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) , Obsidian ( 1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) , Diamond ( 1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) , Mithril ( 1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) , Adamantium ( 1 2 3 4 5 Stacks ) , Elementia ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Stacks ) And Majer .
At the start of the match, the Gameboard in which you're going to play will be displayed. This board is picked from a selection of 10. All boards change everytime a new season starts. You will then be able to select the elemental power you want to use and one of your decks. Out of a deck of 20 cards, only 5 of them will be randomly extracted.
You can mulligan cards (even all 5 cards). When the mulligan ends for both players the match will start. Cards are placed at the center of the Gameboard, in the 3x3 grid.
Placing it near enemy cards will allow you to conquer them as long as your power value is higher than your enemy's.
If you conquer a card that has other cards next to it with values lower than the one you conquered, you'll start a conquer chain. The game ends when all cards are placed on the board and victory is awarded to the player that has the most points (cards conquered). In Majestic there are no hidden cards, only elemental power and other equipments are hidden to your opponent.
Some cards have one or more Elements that can be seen on the top right of the skin (frame) these elements enhance card values.
If a creature with an element is placed on the same element in the gameboard it will have all its values increased by 1.
If placed on a different element, it will trigger an elemental collision that will rotate card values randomly. If a creature with Element is placed on a non-element slot, nothing will happen.
The Elemental Powers are special abilities that can only be used once per game. You can only choose one at the beginning of each match and the opponent will see which one you have and you can see which one your opponent has
Water: You can freeze a card in the opponent's hand in order to prevent him to play that card for the next turn, this Special Ability cannot be used against the opponent’s last card.
TIPS For example if you use the water power you can block a strong card and prevent it to being used to conquer your cards
Earth: Cover one of your cards with a layer of protective rock. That card cannot be conquered for the next turn.
TIPS the heart power is basically a shield. You better play this power before the other player uses his elemental power.
Fire: Burns a card, reducing its attack values by 1. This attack stacks for 3 rounds.
TIPS you better play the fire power on the first turn to get the game set on just as you want.
Air: A Storm covers a slot in the game board. That slot cannot be used in the next turn. This special ability cannot be used in the last turn.
TIPS the air power is a situational block that can be a win or a lose move
Energy: Unleash an Elemental Collision on a card. The Elemental collision rotates the attack values randomly.
TIPS Energy power is one of the moves that you can use at the end of the game to overturn the situation and create a winning conquer chain.
Light: Give +1 power values to a card in your hand or on the battlefield .
TIPS always buff a card before you play it.
Shadow: Choose a card in the battleground and switch it with a random card or move it to a random empty slot. This elemental power does not cause any other basic mechanical effect.
TIPS moving a card randomly could be a risk but it's better do it on the first,second or third turn, even if you play it on your card.
Like in traditional Collectible Card Games, cards are rated by their rarity, ranging from Common , Uncommon , Rare, Epic, Mythical and Legendary. All rarities have a different value of elemental dust that you can gain if you decide to destroy a card. You can accumulate that elemental dust to create a different card.
Thousands of years ago Temperia was a planet where the magic was very strong and the Dragons flew freely without any borders. The first races began to populate Temperia’s lands. The Demon Chief Malzarok, raging for peace, deceived the dragons showing them armies of Elves, Dwarfs, Gnomes, Humans and Felions marching to their nests. This began a bloody centenarian war that forced the races to join toghether against the dragons.The magic of Elves, The cunning of gnomes and dwarfs, The Heart of Humans and Felions were able to create such powerful weapons that could face the dragons. The war was so endless and catastrophic that Arolin, King of the Elves, sealed with Khornauran Light of the Sun the Dragons Chief, the pact of the Dragon Knights. Malzarok, furious at this, created a race of his own. A mix between Humans and Demons: The Abroms. Those who should have been his slaves rose against his cruelty. So he opened the Dark Portal, to let the demons pass through and destroy Temperia. The union between Dragon Knights and the powerful and brave warriors from other races were able to Close the Dark Portal, keeping Temperia in Peace. It was that night, when Maximus Adorfin was born. After 40 Years the growing decay and evil of the societies led to the opening of the portal once again. So after a lot of adventures, reasearches and studies he created Majestic the card game, the game wasn't easy to play but was approachable by everyone. When a match is completed it creates Energy that is absorbed from the Great Crystal of Elementia that keeps the Dark Portal closed. Welcome Player! Audentes fortuna Iuvat.
This is the story about the creation of the MoonWolf Entertainment and "Majestic The Card Game". We knew each other on the twitch channel called Moonryde (Dario's Nik name) and WolfilLupo (Enrico's Nik name) after days of visiting Moon's channel decided to make a twitch channel himself. His video didn't work but the audio was good. Moonryde by hearing his voice decided to ask for collaboration with him.The TWITCH channel name became MoonWolf_MW and they started to share the channel like they are probably doing it now.
After a lot of misunderstandings, Wolf thanks to his experience as a Dungeon Master and at the request of a pair of powerful players (Sbuci & Zanzo) began to design a game to be included in their D&D campaign. Wolf took the FF8 Triple Triad as an example and started to make tests and work on his new and different idea/game concept. However, it was only when he told to Moon about his idea and thanks to their combined idea "Majestic The Card Game" was born. All the graphics phases are made by hours and hours of Moon's job. Fonziestemista accepts to program it, and Giordano Saviotti accepts to give to Majestic a face with the phenomenal illustrations. All the monsters and characters contained in the Majestic are part of the stories written by Wolf that will publish sooner or later in proper real books that will be the adventures of Maximus "Majestic" Adorfin. The creator, inside the script, of the Majestic The Card Game.
The KickStarter is not just our chance to make the money you need for programming, illustration, sound, music, and game advertising. Kickstarter is a very powerful and influential reality that in our day allows a few friends like us to try and accomplish their dreams, to create our own company, to pass on the experience of being an INDIE developer, hoping to become part of the great reality of gaming. Risks and challenges
The only real risk is not being able to produce a playable Alpha right at the end of the Kickstarter.
The dreams and targets of the 2 creators of the MoonWolf Entertainment are based on the majestic rush. Moon and Wolf want to make more games with different styles and concepts than current FPS and RPGs
Both of them are dreamers and they will risk everything to make this come true. We want to create an entire universe around Temperia and Majestic, that will include Books, Movies and more.
