Stretch Goal #1 REACHED!
Our first stretch goal of $13,000 is a custom two piece box (designed for 80 cards) for all contributors at the $25 dollar reward and up. We will unveil the box design (produced by the same company that does Cards Against Humanity) after we reach our initial funding goal. Thanks so much for the support!
Stretch Goal #2 REACHED!
Custom play mat for everyone at that $35 level and up if we hit $25,000.
This game is being made in conjunction with the AUDL, an upstart professional ultimate league. We've spent hours designing and testing the game already, so a special thanks goes out to everyone who has helped us get it this far. Particularly those who spent many grueling hours testing the game at my house. We are really excited to get this game produced, so we hope you will help us finish the job by supporting this Kickstarter!
Detailed game play: As a player, your goal is to collect seven goals. The first round begins with a single goal card in the middle. If that card is not won in the first round, another is added in the second round and so forth. You must decide if you want to play an offensive card to try to win the goal, a defensive card, or a game changer. Offensive and defensive cards are assigned a numerical ranking. A defensive card that is equal to or higher than your offensive card allows that player to take your card and place it in their hand. You also can add booster cards like “Lockdown D” that allow you to remove one other player’s card from the trick. Once players have chosen their cards all cards are turned over at the same time. All game changer card actions take place first, then the remaining defensive cards are allowed to "block" the offensive cards. The highest remaining offensive card (if any) takes the goal card.
If the goal card is not won in first round, it remains in the middle, and a second goal card is turned up. All players are now playing for 2 goals cards. This will incentivise more offensive cards to be played. Playing your Jimmy Mickle or Brodie Smith card may seem obvious, but other players know this and are laying in wait with their Bird Block card.
Sometimes your hand is void of good offensive cards. This is a good time to play a game changer card. These cards are intended to make the round a bit more interesting by adding unforeseen elements. The Timeout card allows you to see what other cards have been played before you play your card. The Poach card allows you to draw a card from another player’s hand. You are most likely going to take a card from a player who has a lot of goal cards.
The most important part of the game is tracking goal cards. Goal cards look just like regular cards and are held in your hand. Your job is to keep players from knowing you are about to win. If you don’t, you will find yourself playing against all the rest of the players, unless, of course, you can convince them someone else has more goal cards than you!

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk to the project is that if we get funded, is that we won't be able to get all the rewards out in a timely manner. We have created a few "interesting" rewards that may be hard to pull off. If we fall behind fulfilling rewards we will make sure to keep our supporters up to date on when they will receive their rewards. We are well versed in printing, design, and and fulfillment so fulfilling the actual games should not be a huge issue (unless this campaign is very, very successful).
