2 Hours To Go-- and Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Thank you so much to everyone who has gone above and beyond to help us meet our $10,000 Kickstarter Goal. Your support has been encouraging and meaningful. We have 2 more days to raise funds (Saturday at 6:59 EST is the cut-off). As you may know, Kickstarter takes 5% and Amazon takes 3-5% so while we are guaranteed to have at least $9,000, ......we are still trying to gather all the support we can. Our actual goal is to have a budget of $10,000 - $12,000 to make this film, and minus Kickstarter fees, we are almost there. Every production has a lot of expenses, from hard costs like insurance ($2500) and permits, to production design and post production costs such as an original music composition, sound mixing, color correction-- and the more money we have, the better these aspects will turn out. In addition, the best festivals have expensive application fees. So if you are considering getting involved to support our brilliant cast and fantastic crew, but saw that we met our Kickstarter goal and thought twice, please make a pledge and help us take this movie as far as we can. Thank you!
