Hello and thank you for reading the following words.
Jason a comic that is planned as a five part series. The first comic came out last year and it was forty-four pages long. Jason Part 2, including covers, is seventy-eight pages. That's double the size!
Jason focuses on the character of Jason Voorhees. This is less a traditional "horror" comic and more a story that focuses on the minutiae of the day to day. Additionally Freddy, Leatherface, Ghostface, Pinhead, Michael and Chucky will all be featured in the comic.
The character design is simple with a focus on creating detailed environments and a fun and engaging story. Though, don't let the cute characters fool you; this is not a comic for kids. There's swearing, sex, drugs and even some rock 'n' roll. (Rock 'n' roll sold separately at your local Best Buy.)
Now lets talk about the rewards because that's really the best part of backing a project. Below is a look at the Lego Slashers print that is one of the many fine rewards offered.
Another reward is having the opportunity to have yourself killed in Jason Part 3. Think about it, you have the opportunity to Jason Voorhees beat you to death with a pillow. Or have Leatherface beat you to death with a pillow. Or Chucky beat you to death with a pillow.
I really want to draw someone getting beat to death with a pillow.
By backing my KickStarter you will be helping me print and promote this comic. I know that if you take the chance and back this project you won't be sorry and if you are sorry at the very least you won't have spent your time sitting through another terrible remake.
Done! If we can get to $1,250 before the project closes out then I will create a special 8 1/2 x11 print that will be exclusive to the backer of this project. This will not be for sale anywhere else. Everyone who donated $30 and up will get a physical copy of the print while all backers below $30 will get a digital copy.
Ok so here is the new goal. If we can reach $1500 then everyone who donated $15 or more will receive a Jason themed sticker pack. That's right, your very own sticker pack to stick on your wall, your van, your notebook, even your Grandma.
