Hi. I noticed you have repeatedly highlighted that you will include an universal adapter for major frame types. But the only short glimpse of the "clip" I can find seems to be in the video of the prototype. Can you provide us some pictures of the clip against different kinds of typical frame types so that we can understand what kind of attachment to the frame is necessary? I am asking this as some frames might be completely sealed at the back for the safety of the art and hence drilling or attaching to the back might not be easy or possible.

Is your hanging system earthquake proof? I would be afraid of the clip "jumping" off the base and causing the glass to shatter and thus make the house extremely dangerous to traverse if shattered glass is everywhere.

Quoting you at 1:23, "WOW, why doesn't this exist?" This system has two distinct requirements, but why doesn't your campaign explain this vitally important piece. My frames don't have any custom holes or stand-offs on the back. How does this product work with a STANDARD frame, or canvas wrapped frame? Does it require screwing the clip to the frame?

I'd like to echo lawrence baca's question that hasn't been answered yet and that it around how the picture frame attaches to the wall mount. Is hangsmart two parts (one that attaches to the wall and the other that attaches to the painting and then they dock together) or is it just the part shown in the video that connects to the wall and any conventional frame hangs onto the hangsmart?
With screws: easily up to 7 kilos (we recommend this)
With adhesive: the adhesive is a 3M solution that we're working on now to hold up to 1.8 kilos depending on wall type (drywall is fine whereas brick walls require screws)
Whether you use nails or the adhesive, you will be able to adjust the artwork right, left, up, and down, while it's mounted on the wall.

Hi there Richard, happy you like Hangmsart! The weight it can hold with screws is in fact listed on the campaign page under "Product Overview." It can easily hold up to 7 kilos. With the adhesive it depends on the kind of wall you have.

Seems like a great solution to an old problem, but I have a few questions:
1) What are the dimensions of the hanger itself? Particulary interested in how thick it is and if the art will hang away from the wall.
2) How does the clip attach to the art frame? A video showing how it's done on different frames please.
3) If I adjust my art all the way to the left or right will I still be able to adjust it up and down?
