Wow, we went to bed last night and wake up to a fully FUNDED project in ~9 hours!
150% at 13 hours!

Since ZigBee is natively Serial (UART), it would need a small 5v to 3.3V regulator, one small ceramic cap, and a Bideirectional Logic Level converter chip. We couldn't promise that it would work with your SmartThings as that would require a partnership to make that board, but anything is possible!
We are actively listening for what you guys would like for stretch goals!
Sooo... I know this is a long shot here, but one thing I'd LOVE to be able to do with this is integrate it in some way with SmartThings. I don't suppose there's the possibility of a stretch goal that might include a Z-wave or Zigbee radio, is there?
I really like the idea of using this as a sort of SmartThings notification/display panel.
