"The Fairy of Colors" is a series of ten books in ten different colors. The books are translated by a professional English translator and will be edited by a professional copy-editor who is a native English speaker. Our first book is "A Blue Fairy-Tale".

Hello! Welcome to our world - “The Fairy of Colors”! We are Vergi and Vesi.
Ten fairy tales in ten different colors. Each one tells the story of a cute creature. Each creature’s unique character is determined by the color of the fairy tale. For example, blue is sad, white is pure, green is playful.
All the books are about a world where we can learn how to believe in our dreams. They encourage us not to worry that we are different. They inspire us to find friends who will always help and support us, and show us how to be brave and overcome difficulties.
Our first book is “A Blue Fairy-Tale”. This is a story about friendship. A story about a lonely big blue whale, swimming in the ocean searching for friends. Although he has a gentle heart, because of his size the ocean creatures keep running away from him in fear. But one day everything changes. The blue whale helps a band of small birds in distress. They return the favor by showing him that anything is possible and that two very different types of creatures can be friends despite their differences.
Vergi: Because I want to teach children how to dream. This story is about a dream, that gives us a reason to keep swimming in an ocean of uncertainty. "A Blue Fairy-Tale" teaches us to accept people who are different, helps us to understand that they have the same needs as we do, and shows that we can find ways to integrate them.
Vesi: In the last few years, I’ve rediscovered my passion for hand-painted art after working for years producing digital art. Our books are painted in a beautiful and unique watercolor style. They aim to inspire children to develop their creativity and art skills.
Do you remember your first illustrated book? For many of us this was the first step in reading and art as well.
When my daughter was born I wanted to show her how beautiful and colorful the world of books can be, and how inspiring different characters and their adventures can be. Every page is illustrated with a lot of love, and will fascinate young children.
Of course! Life is very boring without inspiration and joy. Life should be all about happiness, inspiration, knowledge, and goodness.
We want our book to be available on different media types.
- We want our traditionally hand-painted book to be transferable onto mobile devices.
- We also want to create a game application that will bring the creatures’ worlds to life.
- Hardcover “A Blue Fairy-Tale” book with 24 illustrated pages, 29.5 x 22 cm
- eBook “A Blue Fairy-Tale"
- Complete Series: “The Fairy of Colors” - 10 books.

Risks and challenges
One of our main challenges is to ensure that the books are properly translated into English. The books have already been translated and edited by a professional English translator and editor. We are planning to use an experienced copy-editor to go over the books a second time to ensure they are of good quality.
After the illustrations are completed, two of our main challenges will be to ensure the printing is of the highest standard, and that we are able to deliver packages to our customers effectively.
We are currently working with a number of local print houses to check the quality of their printing and work out the exact costs involved. As well as this, we are looking into the best way to deliver packages to you once we reach our goal.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
