This is the titular song from the musical film, "Happily Ever Afterlife".
We've reach our fundraising goal but that certainly doesn't mean we want people to stop donating. We aimed on the low end when we began this Kickstarter because, well, we didn't expect the response we've gotten so far. So please keep giving if you can!
Happily Ever Afterlife is a musical short film being put together by TCU film students. There are four songs currently written and a fifth in the works which are going to be professionally recorded in a studio and distributed digitally via iTunes. Happily Ever Afterlife tells the story of Jeff, a man who finds himself finally on a first date with the girl he loves, Morgan, who also happens to be his best friend. While on their first date, Morgan causes a car accident that kills Jeff. Jeff wakes up immediately and finds out that he has become a ghost. He is welcomed into this afterlife by a fellow ghost, Pamela. While Jeff struggles how to deal with his--still very alive--love for Morgan, Pamela makes the suggestion that he simply kill her so that she can join them in their ghost world and Jeff can finally have his happily ever afterlife.
Happily Ever Afterlife will be directed by Paul W. Heyduck. Paul is making his directorial debut on this film, but is a longtime filmmaker who has worked on many short projects and the feature film Searching for Sonny. He has produced, been a 1st Assistant Director, worked the camera, audio, and even acted. Basically he's familiar with all aspects of filmmaking and will be a terrific director because of it.
The film stars Dalton Hutto as Jeff, Kelsey Milbourn as Pamela, and Ellen Thomas as Morgan. These three blew away the director and producers at casting and will doing the same to the viewers soon enough.
Please enjoy these other two songs from the musical:
There is also a medley and a smaller song in development right now. Enjoy the music!
