Hello Friends

Last few hours were a roller coaster ride, When the project launched we immediately received many requests for pledges with two or more Pressys. We heard your call and quickly added the LOVERS DEAL which proved to be a huge success. Sadly it appears that Kickstarter’s project Guidelines don’t allow creators to offer pledges for more than one reward per pledge, therefor few hours ago the pledge was removed, and all pledges made to it were cancelled.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by that, in case you are willing to forget and forgive, we would happily assist you to renew your pledge, simply message us and we’ll walk you through it.

Few more updates while we’re spamming you ; )

In the last few days my apartment was transformed into an improvised (yet classy!) office. We also recruited three extra members to the team in order to help us answer all your calls. No worries though, every answer you get is approved personally by Boaz or myself.

We heard your feedback about the Kickstarter (green) edition being a bit overpriced. We thought about it and decided to add in a bonus T-shirt with special writing and Kickstarter logo to that pledge. We hope you enjoy it as much as Pressy!

Many of you are asking us about stretch goals, so we’ve decided to surprise you - We are working on a new service that will allow Pressy users to communicate with voice messages, just like using a Walkie-Talkie, Pressy To Talk:

"I just clicked to say I love you"

That feature is not so simple to create, including added back-end infrastructure and support, therefore we hope to offer it in case we reach $500,000. With your help we can make it happen!

Additionally we had a tour today in the company that may eventually mass produce Pressy. It is one of the largest companies in the world in the field, we’ll publish it’s name once the contract is sealed.

That’s all for now, hope you like the updates and again we apologize for the hassle the cancellation may have caused!

Boaz & Nimrod

I have backed other projects which offered multiple rewards (see Nomiku). Did Kickstarter change the policy since then? What about the offer to change our bid amount (which I did) to get multiple units? Will that still be honored, or do I need to change my bid from $50 down to $25?

    2. Creator Joel Ellis on September 14, 2013

I never saw a reply to my question down below. Is there a way to get two of them?

    3. Creator Nimrod Back on September 6, 2013

@Honggo Siswanto, @Michael Bingham : private message me, and I'll do my best to help.
@Prospero your pledge is fine, no need to be worried.
@Thierry JEAN-AMANS we're moving forward, and are on track to completing our goals.

    4. Creator Thierry JEAN-AMANS on September 6, 2013

Please keep on your original product and delivery date. Bells and whistles must not spoil that.

      @Gal Buki
      Thanks man :-)

If i want to get two or three piece of pressy. What should i do? Since my couple was cancelles by kickstarter.

I have emails with Nimrod and am quite impress with the fast responses considering the popularity of this project. The first thing I wanted when I purchased my Note II and SIII was a physical shutter button. Now, Pressy is completing that for me. I originally pledged for the Lover's Special and was notified by Kickstarter that my pledge was cancelled due to their constraints. Nimrod assured me that I should just pledge the color special for $25 and up the pledge to $45 to get two devices and choice of color. It was a little confusing for me. So, since Kickstarter is offering one in their green color I decided to go with that. I was going to write Nimrod and ask if he would throw in a T-shirt but, I see that has been taking care of. What a smart company. My second Pressy pledge under my spouses Kickstarter account is the color special Red. Congratulations to Pressy and Kickstarter on this overwhelming successful launch!

      Hello,

Can the $30 Kickstarter design be in BLACK. :)

    10. Creator damiano ghidoni on September 3, 2013

similarly as Raj Patel I have backed at the $17 amount, but following the instructions, doubled the pledge to get 2 pressys. I noticed that the FAQ regarding how to get more pressys is now gone for good ... it is still ok?

    11. Creator Russell Frisch on September 3, 2013

I'm very intrigued by the idea of a Push to Talk like service. In the event that the stretch goal is not reached or otherwise the decision for such a service is not implimented, are there plans to allow developers to include support for Pressy in their own apps? Would the companion app provide support for this or would it require the development of a separate API to integrate with Pressy?

    12. Creator bagheadinc on September 3, 2013

How about using Backerkit to deal with add-ons, it would help keep everything organized since there are now 4 different levels (basic, color, Kickstarter, gold).

    13. Creator B Alan Eisen on September 3, 2013

Kickstarter is convoluted on this point. Do this. On your survey give the various combinations and their pledge costs. Have all kickstarters pledge at the highest pledge level that contains what they want. They can add the pledge price for extras that they want. In your survey, have everybody check off what they want for their pledge. If there are any glitches (of course) they can e-mail you.

    14. Creator Michael Bingham on September 3, 2013

I had originally backed with the 'Lovers' deal. I re-pledged at the $25 level, is there something else I need to do?

    15. Creator Raj Patel on September 3, 2013

I have backed at the $20 amount, but following the instructions, doubled the pledge to get 2 Pressys and indicate that on the survey when they go out. Is that still ok?

    16. Creator Gal Buki on September 3, 2013

      @Prospero
Don't worry. That deal was not canceled.
If you look on the right side you should see "You selected" on that tier which means that you still have that pledge active.

    17. Creator Prospero on September 3, 2013

      *be worried :-P

    18. Creator Prospero on September 3, 2013

I am a backer of the basic pressy deal+keychain (20$) should I do something or i am not supposed to ne sorride????

    19. Creator Emilio Benavides Díaz on September 3, 2013

Hola, he leído la última noticia que han enviado por correo sobre una cancelación,no lo he entendido bien , y me gustaría saber si mi pedido sigue estando activo,y sigue adelante , ya que estoy deseando recibir mi pressy. lo antes posible, gracias

    20. Creator Nimrod Back on September 3, 2013

@Jack We are discussing that with Kickstarter, if we do re-open it, you'll be able to change your pledge back.
@Thiago unless you got a notification email from Kickstarter that your pledge was cancelled you are ok. No other pledges other than the LOVERS DEAL were cancelled.
      @Adva green one isn't cancelled.
      @Dennis please contact us privately
@Craig its exactly what it means!

    21. Creator Sean Kilbane on September 3, 2013

@Craig Refills You'll get it, just as long as you have that option selected. :)

    22. Creator Sean DeArras on September 3, 2013

It bugs me that smaller projects seem to be getting away with having reward levels offering multiple rewards of the same thing, like JUICIES+ which has a level with 2, and a level with 4, While as this project gets called out... Maybe the others will be caught too, but its still a silly rule. I understand that kickstarter is about helping to fund a project, and not about being a store, but at the same time, being able to get more then one in a reward allows them to know how much of a demand a single person might have, and be able to develop for that better. Not to mention it helps them reach the minimum order needed for their manufacturer.

    23. Creator Craig Reville on September 3, 2013

Wait, wait, wait ... I pledged $40 for the kickstarter edition one, does that mean I don't need to do anything and I now get the t-shirt as well?

    24. Creator bagheadinc on September 3, 2013

@Nathan I think it was around September or October of last year. Many projects still get away with it, but when a project does extremely well in a very short amount of time, Kickstarter tends to look into it to make sure they're not breaking guidelines.

    25. Creator Nathan Hartsell on September 2, 2013

I backed Dice Rings and I was able to get 3 rings from one pledge. Did they recently add this crazy bogus guideline?

    26. Creator Sven Johannsen on September 2, 2013

When did Kickstarter come up with that silly rule? Look at Pebble. You could get one, two in the same color (black), two in any colors, 5 packs, 10 packs, even 100 packs. Check their KickStarter site, the pledge menu is still there. Maybe I misunderstand, but wasn't the lover pack just two Pressies for one pledge.

    27. Creator Dennis Catipon on September 2, 2013

Hi! I'm a backer of pledge 20+5, can I add one more pledge 20?
      And, should I add another 5 for s & h? Thanks

    28. Creator Adva Hershko on September 2, 2013

What is a LOVERS DEAL? And if I choose the green one is it cancelled?

    29. Creator Thiago Saadeh Silva on September 2, 2013

How do I know if I have to put up a new pledge or if I'm still covered by my original pledge?

    30. Creator Jack S Shelemay on September 2, 2013

I was disappointed with the cancellation of "the lovers Pressy deal" to which I have originally subscribed. Rather than miss out I have subscribed for "the awesome Pressy deal" today. Will you be re-offering the two Pressy deal? Thanks.
      Jack Shelemay

    31. Creator Nimrod Back on September 2, 2013

      @Adam - don't worry, click Pressy.

The PTT is not being develop yet. this is only a vision if will reach our "stretch goal". We will do our best to deliver sooner than we promised. For all others I must get some sleep :) thanks for the comments I will answer them all tomorrow.

    32. Creator Joel Ellis on September 2, 2013

If I still choose to pledge $45 am I able to get two?

    33. Creator Adam Heinze on September 2, 2013

The PTT idea sounds cool but ship the pressy first. The beauty is the simplicity. I love the idea of presssy to talk so just get it to me. If the idea works and you want people to develop for you then great and that is a great idea, let the community help. If not just ship it and work on PTT later. Pebble took forever. we are early adopters who love the idea put it in our hands. You have lots of work to do get at it. Awesome idea btw.

    34. Creator Manny Wilson on September 2, 2013

Just checking if we can pick the size of our shirts.

    35. Creator Gerald Fuller on September 2, 2013

I ordered the Gold can I also order the Green Kickstarter one?

    36. Creator KOLIO (deleted) on September 2, 2013

If the press to talk feature is even remotely having a chance of delaying the project, I hope you choose to stick to the original advertised plan. March 2014 is far enough down the road, even one delay is unacceptable.

Not trying to put a damper on innovation, but, you have a responsibility to your backers to remain on schedule.
A delay or two will no doubt pop-up w/the original plan, that's almost a given. Adding this extra feature at the price will no doubt seal that fate.
I hope you re-consider, & use the extra funding to remain on schedule, or, better yet, serve as an example to other start-ups @ KICKSTARTER, & finish ahead of schedul.

    37. Creator bagheadinc on September 2, 2013

But if you want to be doubly sure, just click on "Manage Your Pledge" in the sidebar and confirm that you've still got your desired tier selected. :)

    38. Creator Nimrod Back on September 2, 2013

@Jon and others - No no no no no no no :)

If you haven't got an email from Kickstarter of the cancellation your still on!
Only if you backed us on the LOVERS DEAL it was canceled, but you can choose a different reward.

      Thanks,
      Boaz

    39. Creator bagheadinc on September 2, 2013

@Jon Bianco The only ones who lost their pledge were those who pledged for the $45 "Lovers Deal" tier. If you pledged the Basic Pressy Deal you are fine.

    40. Creator Jon Bianco on September 2, 2013

So has my pledge been lost? I have the BASIC PRESSY DEAL I just don't want to lose it :)

    41. Creator Zane Low on September 2, 2013

I love the T-shirt addition. How about one with your bear mascot?

    42. Creator Daniel Gimness on September 2, 2013

      Hi Boaz and Nimrod,

Kickstarter allows you to create a tier that lets users choose their own backer rewards. Take a look at my Kickstarter that was funded for my book The Hidden Crystal to see how I set it up.
      www.thehiddencrystal.com

CHOOSE YOUR OWN BACKER REWARD(S) If you want to create your own rewards package, please choose your items from the ADD ONS section and add the amounts for your pledge amount.

      Best,

      Dan
