Hello Folks, a few updates and then personal messages:
We should be getting the new and improved models by the end of this week. In case there is nothing wrong with those we should start assembling the production line. From the time it is up it’ll take only a few days to produce thousands of Pressys. We have designed a new and improved keychain which will be included in the rewards you will get. It will be able to latch onto the earphones cable as well as your keychain.
Regarding the Indiegogo campaign, we are aware of it and are considering legal options to take it down. Thanks to all of you who pointed our attention towards this issue. As for now it does not seem like it’s taking off anyhow...
@Larry there is no need to file a dispute, if you wish to get a full refund you can write us an email and we’ll take care of that in no time.

Update? Been a long while!
@DC Govier: You are mistaking Copyright and Patent. The DMCA means, for example, if the ShutIt folks had used the Pressy video, the Pressy folks could request that it be taken down.
But for a physical product, patent applies, and independent invention is possible, although not an accepted "defense". But that is only enforceable after the patent is granted.

Where is my Pressy?
Would be nice to have a comprehensive update as to where they are currently. For example is the software finished? It should be but there has been no mention of this. How is the compatibility checking going along?? So far they have only mentioned hardware issues that they want to improve.
No recent updates on Facebook, not sure about Twitter as this is currently banned here in Turkey so cannot access.
I am beginning to think we have been had and Nimrod Back if that is his name is on a beach sunning himself. There is no contact from them in 5 weeks, does this not get you worried.

I'd rather have a well made project that ships late than some garbage shipped early.

about importance of contact between backers and creators - yup, that is exactly what I meant, also couldn't agree more about filing the credit card claim - we are not being "cheated" - we backed an idea, and true, we have to be patient... but! we still want to hear from the pressy team!

I couldn't agree more, I was just trying to say that filing a claim with your Credit Card company wouldn't go anywhere since we funded a product idea. Communication, even just to say "there isn't anything we can say" is very important to a project. I don't think enough project creators realize that while they may be busy and the project is moving forward, unless they tell us about it we end up thinking the project has stalled.
On a side note, Kickstarter really needs to get a comment notification system set up so we actually get notified when we're talking to each other.

I will say I'm with everyone else and just a little weekly "hey this is what up" would be nice. But this talk about a refund is kinda a bit out there... It's supposed to be done in March as an ESTIMATED date, does everyone know what that means?

@Gary, on one hand - You are right. but on the other - bringing Your idea to KickStarter You have to remember that it's a socially driven platform, therefore You should act according to social requirements - for example I am not asking for ETA, or rushing the creators of Pressy! no, I'd just like them to remember, thanks to whom their idea became reality and simply keep us, backers, updated. that is all.
@larry while I understand being anxious to receive a cool product, if you file a dispute you won't get very far. Technically we are funding an idea and getting a product as a bonus. The estimated delivery date is just that, an estimate. My advice is to relax and enjoy being part of making a cool product a reality. There are always some bumps along the road.
They advertised a delivery date of March and its still March so i don't think you would get very far!
An update would be nice tho, maybe its nearly ready to ship!
Any updates on this? I'm seriously considering filing a dispute with my cc company due to the fact that this funded back in October... and it's now almost April... with NO product in hand.

Dear @Pressy... You really shouldn't keep us in the dark for so long - You managed to make quite a profit with all of us backers, and all we need to keep us happy is at least to stay in the loop! Keep us updated, please! :)

@tal korenhendler, their have update in Pressy facebook. Their are currently running compatibility tests for Pressy with the help of Apkudo.
