The Boozaar is a way for you to add things you may want to your backing level. Simply pledge at your desired level and add the appropriate shipping amount (US or International) Then if you want anything extra, just add the above amount to your pledge level. When the Kickstarter ends you will receive a survey asking for your address, it will also ask you what the extra money you've pledged is towards. Loot Corps is a brand new company founded by Jasn Painter and Athena Cagle. Our dream is to make awesome games that are both fun to play and great to look at. Jasn Painter is a self celebrated game designer :P who has been making small games for himself and his friends since he was a kid. He has a strong background in design and is into all things nerdy. Athena Cagle is a traditional fine artist who can use anything from watercolor to oil paints with amazing results. She also mastered the digital medium and strives to keep herself from turning every piece she creates into a 6 month masterpiece. DrunkQuest is our first game and we know when people get their hands on it, it'll be a hit!

Each card is printed on thick 350GSM paper and jumbo sized at 3.5 by 5.5 to allow the cards to be easily read during extended play sessions! We're committed to making sure that DrunkQuest is a game that can stand toe-to-toe with big name publishers in both design and mechanics. We've been in testing for over a year and have created an incredibly polished product!
DrunkQuest is a fast paced card game with a fantasy theme and a heavily encouraged sense of competition. It's been described as "Munchkin with booze" by our playtesters and we think that is a huge compliment. With rules that are easy to pick up and cards that are easy to understand we've designed DrunkQuest to be instantly playable and incredibly enjoyable. A typical game of DrunkQuest takes anywhere from 25-45 minutes. And is just as much fun to watch others play as it is to play yourself. It's a great game for a Saturday night and an amazing party game!
How do you play DrunkQuest?
The game is designed to be easily learned so at parties you spend more time playing and less time shouting over music and other people. But it's also designed to offer strategy and tactics, something most drinking games do not.
Before the game begins, players choose a random Hero Class card. There are 8 different Hero Class cards, they are as follows. Brewmaster, Cleric, Paladin, Ranger, Trickshot, Warrior and the 2 pictured above, Thief and Wizard.
Each player the chooses a random realm. Both Realms and Hero Classes offer up unique bonuses and rewards that are persistant throughout the game.
Then each player is given 5 treasure cards. Treasure cards are a constant goal for players, they allow you to affect yourself and other players in positive and negative ways. There are 4 types of treasures. Actions which can be played on yours and other players monsters, Permanents which are played on yourself and give constant bonuses throughout the entire game, Instants which can be played on yourself or other players at any time and Interrupts, which can stop other players from playing certain card types.
On your turn you reveal a monster and then combat begins! Below is an example of one of the many monsters found in DrunkQuest. The number at the top left in red, is its drink value and represents how many drinks you will have to take in order to defeat the monster. The number at the bottom right in green is its treasure value and represents how many treasures a player will gain when he is defeated. Each monster also has an ability that happens immediately when it is revealed.
Once your monster is revealed, all other players have a chance to affect the monster with the treasures in their hand. Treasures played on the monster can do anything from add drinks to the monster, move it to another player, remove treasure and many many other things. When a monster is defeated it grants a level to the player who defeated it. The first player to reach level 6 wins!

Below are our Overfund Goals. We've tried to give as much as possible to say thank you in our normal donation tiers. Overfund Goals give us an opportunity to take the game to the next level and offer more to our backers!
Every backer at the $25 level and above will get an exclusive set of Status Effect cards. These cards bring a new mechanic to the game by adding new rules that must be followed during the game. A Status Effect might say a player has to talk like a pirate for the rest of the game. These effects force players that forget, to take a certain number of drinks! The set will include 10 Status Effect cards to be added to the monster deck and 6 Cleanse Cards to add to the Treasure deck. (Pictures when goal is met!)
We will upgrade all DrunkQuest cards with Premium art. Each card will have a fully drawn out background that is colored and designed to add quality to the game. Because we are a company of 2 people this is a lot of work and we decided it would be too much for 200 cards for the initial release. However! If we make this goal we promise to dedicate all nights and weekends to bringing each of our cards up to Premium status! (Pictures when goal is met!)
If we reach this goal we will include custom dice made specifically for DrunkQuest. These dice are made to be used with your Heroes abilities. Custom dice would have forced us to up our initial goal and we really want to make this game so we left them out. But we will include them for everyone if we reach this goal! (Pictures when goal is met!)
We've already begun our planning stages for an expansion to DrunkQuest. It's set in a Transylvanian setting and includes Hero cards like Vampires and Zombies. It also brings a few new mechanics to the game. If we reach this goal we will send every backer at the $25 mark and above a free copy when its done and we will even send them their copy months before anyone else gets it!
Drink Coaster Mechanic: Each backer at the $25 level or above will receive a set of 6 Drink Coasters. These coasters will have printing on both sides. The back side will just feature the DrunkQuest logo. But the opposite side will feature a unique game rule. These rules will always benefit the player in possession of the coaster. The coasters should be given to the players at random at the beginning of the game. When a player finishes their drink during the game they can flip over their coaster to reveal its reward.
DrunkQuest Shotglass: Each backer at the $45 level and above will receive an exclusive DrunkQuest shot glass. For months now we've developed a house rule for our play sessions. At any time when a player has to take 14+ drinks they may instead opt to take a shot. The shot is full of whatever the owner of the game decides, and it sits on the table...waiting. On our little shotglass we wrote a little 14 on it with some scribbles that resemble the DrunkQuest logo. But for these glasses we will actually have real art on the glass upgrading our design. Now you, the owner of DrunkQuest may use our house rule as your own. Feeling generous one night? fill the glass with a nice lemon drop shooter. Feeling vindictive? Jagermeister it is. We will also give our $45 and above level backers an extra print for free!
