The Saturday mission

To the most awesome, unrelenting and inspiring group of backers a film project could dream of:

From the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU!

What an absolutely amazing journey. We cracked 75K in the wee hours of the night! How exciting to wake up to this incredible news!!

We have 54 hours to go before our campaign ends. We are currently at 593 backers. Can we double our backers before Monday? Can we hit the magic number - 100K?

With all hands on deck we can do this!

If ALL of our 593 backers inspire one person to back THE IRAN JOB on Kickstarter, we will have a chance.

What do you say? Are you up for a Special Saturday mission: Inspire one backer to pledge at any level. (See below for press that you can share.)

We also just learned that a very cool German basketball website featured The Iran Job - They took it upon themselves to translate the film's synopsis, added the trailer as well as the recent CNN broadcast  to their site and now they're planning a live-stream Intv with us during a professional German basketball game tomorrow night! - It's this type of DIY go-getter mentality that's going to get us to 100K!! Check out their site -- those of you who speak German will get a kick out of it:

Thank you again for your incredible support, for sharing this with your networks and for giving THE IRAN JOB the opportunity to reach a world wide audience.

Much Love & Gratitude,

Sara & Till

Party Pictures!

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for making the party a super fun and successful night! It was so nice to celebrate with and get to know so many of you! And we truly felt the spirit of those who couldn't physically be with us - thanks to the live stream of our site, which made this a virtual world wide party!

Thank you again to the incredibly generous brothers Ali and Farhad Attaie for being such fantastic hosts! Thank you to D.J. P.J for the cool tunes, and of course a huge thank you to all of the interns who helped make this so special!

Before the party a supporter from Australia (!) emailed us asking for our specific timezone so that folks from down under could pledge during the party. Amazing!

Attached please find some party pics. This was just the beginning. We can't wait to have more celebrations like this in the coming months, when the film is completed and will finally have its world premiere!

We are down to just 3 days now. Please bear with us during this final push and inspire your friends to join our cause by becoming backers and by sharing the link to everyone they know.

Thank you all for your continued support!

Much love and gratitude,

Sara & Till

The Party is on!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!

The fundraiser DANCE party kicks off in just two hours! Please help make it a big success!

A live stream of the kickstarter site will show every donation in real time. Every backer will be greeted with a big round of applause & drinks!

It would be fantastic if you can inspire one friend to back the film tonight between 8pm-12pm.

Every new backer will rouse the party!

Also, we just got the link from last night's CNN World Report broadcast, which had a terrific segment about the film with Kevin live on the show by phone. Enjoy and feel free to share this:

CNN World Sports & Live Stream & new awards

Hello everyone!

Today is a big day: our Brooklyn fundraiser DANCE party kicks off tonight at 8PM. We hope many of you can make it!

We'll have a live stream of the kickstarter site at the party -- every donation that comes in will be greeted with a big round of applause & drinks! It would be fantastic if you would continue sharing our link in these last 4 days, and especially tonight!

Everyone who backs the project btwn 8pm-1am will literally rouse the party!

Please also note that we've added some high-value art in the higher pledge levels. And we've recently added the T-Shirt at the $35 level.

Yesterday The Iran Job was featured on CNN International's World Sports yesterday.

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/sports/2012/01/04/ws-american-athlete-plays-in-iran.cnn

And there was a much longer broadcast on CNNI's World Report -- we'll share that link as soon as it's available.

Thank you all so very much for your support and all the encouraging messages! We can't wait to party with you all!

Much love and gratitude,

Sara & Till
