Thank you for a special year - wishing your a miraculous 2013!

Dear Friends,

As the year is winding down we would like to express our deepest gratitude to you for making 2012 truly special.

So many of you have helped us - first to complete our film and then to introduce it to audiences around the world by sticking with us through two Kickstarter campaigns, and the film's subsequent release.

Throughout the process you have welcomed us with open arms and shown us the meaning of support. You have encouraged us, you've cheered us on, and you've spread the love into every corner of the globe - whether during the Kickstarter campaigns, the world premiere in Los Angeles, or during the film's magical run in New York.

This momentum will continue immediately after New Year's with screenings at the Siskel Center in Chicago (Jan 12 & 15), a congressional screening on Capitol Hill (Jan 14), a special screening at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles (Jan 15), screenings in Houston (Jan 20 & 26), Boston (Jan 25 & 26), and several film festivals in Irvine, Ca, (Jan 17), Cologne/Germany (Jan 24) and Spokane, Washington (Feb 1) - (the film will be the opening film at each of these festivals) -  along with further releases in February and March, including the theatrical release in Germany and screenings in London and Moscow. (All dates/venues will be published on our website soon).

The Iran Job could not be on its current path without the genuine support that so many of you have shown us throughout the year - people from all over there world coming together around the values of friendship and compassion, regardless of religious or cultural backgrounds.

For this we are humbled and deeply grateful to you.

Wishing you all a very special holiday season and a fantastic new year during which we'll hopefully meet and reconnect with many of you!

Much love and gratitude,

Sara & Till

CINEMA FOR PEACE - The Iran Job

Hello everyone,

We're writing to see if you guys could do us a favor and recommend The Iran Job to the "Cinema for Peace" competition that's held in Berlin every February. Films get selected based on random peoples recommendations - so basically anyone can recommend a film, and it would be really cool if you could recommend The Iran Job to them.

heres the link - just fill out the "recommend a movie" field and done.
http://www.cinemaforpeace.com/flash09/index.htm

For reference, here's how one supporter phrased it -- by no means do you have to write this much -- just a simple sentence should be totally fine. Just make it your own words - (please don't copy/paste this example - recommendations need to be unique to the person sending it).

Thanks so much,

Till & Sara

Sample recommendation for reference:

THE IRAN JOB - by filmmakers Till Schauder and Sara Nodjoumi, is the quintessential anti-war movie and thus an ideal candidate for CINEMA FOR PEACE. By introducing Iranians to a wider Western audience - and by portraying Iranians in a human light and with far more nuance and accuracy than one typically sees in Western media THE IRAN JOB will give pause to warmongers and hawkish politicians in the West who are bent on attacking Iran. At the same time the film is very clear in its critique of the dismal human rights situation in Iran - especially with regards to women's rights. This is an important film for these times. While it is extremely relevant and timely it also manages to be entertaining, fun, heartwarming and inspiring. The film's limited U.S. release was so successful that it earned The Iran Job a place on various Oscar forecaster lists. The film's success at the box office has also resulted in a wider release in the U.S. in January and theatrical releases in other countries. Please do see this film - and please do select it for Cinema For Peace. You will have a winner at your hands. Also see their website for trailer and more info: www.theiranjob.com
